During the Ming dynasty (1368-1644), the intrepid explorer Zheng He sailed into regions unknown. The

mission: to bring back treasure and explore new worlds. Like all explorers, he found much of interest,

and left something behind as well. Nanhai No.1, a worthy successor to Zheng He’s mighty ship, is now

in Hong Kong taking passengers on a culinary voyage of exploration. The project, once again, is

treasure – succulent seafood in particular. And once again, worlds will encounter each other and blend

in new ways: the culinary worlds of China and the South Seas.
