Daranisuke, with its 1,300 year history, is said to be the origin of Wakan medicine. Fujii Risaburo Yakubo is the original maker of this medicine, known as “Fujii Daranisuke-gan” . The story goes that 300 years ago, a large 3-legged frog - a messenger from the master of medicine - revealed the secret method of making the medicine to mankind. Remaining faithful to this original formula, we have continued the production of the drug here on Mt. Yoshino, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Our trademark is the frog with 3 legs. All our products are made without ad-ditives.
