• Describe recommendations for reform.

SBA Office of Advocacy

• SBA Office of Advocacy requesting nominations of Federal rules in need of review and reform.

• Top 10 rules will nominated by small businesses will be transmitted to appropriate federal agencies for review and reform.

• Purpose is to streamline outdated and ineffective regulations. (constructive suggestions)

NASA Mission

• To pioneer the future in space exploration, scientific discovery, and aeronautics research.

• With the NASA mission shifting from shuttle to exploration the opportunities for prime contracting with small business will probably decline during the early research and development phases.

• The shuttle program is a mature program which provides opportunities to qualified small business to be both prime and subcontractors.
