Background
• Established in March 2006
• 140 Civilian employees
• 330 Service providers employees (new contract began 10/1/15)
• Transitioned five (5) functional areas, Financial Management,
Human Resources, Procurement, Information Technology, and
Agency Business Support Services from other NASA centers to the
NSSC targeting cost savings
• Cost savings benefits achieved - reduced overhead, optimized
processes thru standardization and automation, improved customer
services in timeliness and quality, and more customer focused
• Although located at Stennis Space Center, the NSSC is a separate
NASA entity reporting to HQs Mission Support Directorate (MSD)

CSGov + SRA: CSRA was formed through the combination of the North
American Public Sector business of CSC and SRA International.
Note: Pearl River, NVision and Geocent are local small business concerns
