NASCAR iRacing.com Pro Series and
NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series Presented by iRacing.com
P a g e | 1
Introduction: iRacing.com™, NASCAR, and Peak Antifreeze are excited to partner to form the premier virtual stock
car racing series in the world, the NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series Powered by iRacing.com. The
(NPAS) along with the NASCAR iRacing.com Pro Series (NPS) are about individual racing competition
and accomplishment. Both of these series are limited to iRacing members who have progressed
through the iRacing.com competition license ladder.
At the top of FIRST-sanctioned competition is the NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series Powered by
iRacing.com. The winner of the WCS is, by definition, the best on-line stock car driver in the world
for that year!
The steppingstone to the WCS is the NASCAR iRacing.com Pro Series. Making it to the Pro Series is a
significant accomplishment but it also serves the purpose of being the qualifying series for the NASCAR
Peak Antifreeze Series Powered by iRacing.com.
*Note: This document assumes a basic understanding of iRacing competition, as sanctioned by FIRST,
including the competition licensing program and Safety Rating system, the iRating skill measure and
divisions. For more information on these topics, please refer to the iRacing.com FIRST Official Sporting
Code (available on the iRacing members’ Web site). These guidelines are subject to change at iRacing’s
sole discretion. Any changes to the guidelines will be announced within the iRacing service.

2016 NASCAR iRacing.com™ Pro Series
The Pro License is the second-highest license level in the iRacing.com FIRST Competition Licensing
Program. Obtaining a pro license or winning a pro event is very prestigious. On top of that, the top 20
finishers in the 2015 pro series will receive a 2016 NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series Powered by
iRacing.com license, our highest racing license and racing series.
Additionally for 2015, positions 21-30 will retain their Pro License and are eligible to race in the 2015
NWC competing and qualifying for grid positions 41-43.
The Pro Series will be held during iRacing’s standard season four, a 10 week season which takes place
from early November through the end of January. There will be just one split and a field of 43 drivers.
The qualifying will work exactly the same as the WCS (see below). Additionally, the race points and
displaying of points will work exactly the same as the WCS (below). The races will also take place on
the same nights as the WCS (Tuesdays) at 9:00 Eastern Time U.S.
Once a member earns a Pro License, he or she shall retain that license from the time it is granted
through the entire season Pro season so long as safety rating remains above 1.0. If a driver falls below
a 1.0 safety rating they will lose their Pro license but can earn their way back to a Pro license during the
season by driving at the lower license class levels to meet requirements and work their way back to an
“A” license class along with getting safety rating above 4.0 at the “A” license class level. If this occurs
they will automatically get their license back.
Pro Licenses will be awarded as earned. iRacing members who are promoted to a Pro License but
have an expired membership must renew their membership within the first two weeks of the Pro-
Season. If a driver does not renew, his/her license could be revoked. Any member not wishing to
retain a pro license upon promotion must inform iRacing.com of his/her intention to withdraw from
Pro Competition within the first two weeks of the season. The member must notify iRacing in writing
via email.

General Qualifying Criteria for NPS
To qualify for the 2015 NASCAR iRacing.com Pro Series a member needs to obtain an iRacing.com “A”
3.00 oval level license. The top 10 points finishers in Seasons 1 and 2 of the NASCAR Class A Series
holding a Class “A” 3.00 license at the end of the season may qualify for the Pro Series and obtain a Pro
License.
Additionally, since the WCS will conclude prior to the start of Season Four, the bottom 30 drivers from
the WCS will also automatically be granted licenses for the Season Four Pro Series so they also will
have a chance based on performance in the Pro Series to race again in the 2016 WCS. Therefore
around 50 drivers will be granted a 2015 NASCAR iRacing.com Pro Series License. The top 20 drivers
from the WCS in 2015 will not be eligible for the 2015 NPS.
NPS events will typically be planned for 60-90 minutes in duration but could vary depending on
cautions and racing venue. Races will typically feature 43 car fields (though again this may vary
depending on venue). Each week, the top 43 NPS drivers based on qualifying times are guaranteed a
place in the race field. All NPS license holders are encouraged to qualify and register for each race.
Room permitting, if NPS drivers do not qualify but register to race they will be placed in the race based
on iRating. The starting grid will be set by qualifying times. Any driver who does not post a qualifying
time will start from the rear of the field based on iRating. Qualifying will be limited to a single session
of two laps fifteen minutes before the start of each race.

2016 NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series Powered by iRacing.com
As the highest racing series within the iRacing.com Competition Program for oval racing (as opposed to
road racing), the NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series Powered by iRacing.com Licenses are awarded to only
40 drivers who have earned the right compete head-to-head to determine the best on-line driver in
the world. The drivers in this series have worked extremely hard to get to this elite series and are the
best sim racers in the world. iRacing.com and NASCAR are also very proud of this series, it is the
showcase for both iRacing and for NASCAR in regards to simulated on-line racing. This series is viewed
and followed closely by thousands of fans and fellow sim racers around the globe.
NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series Powered by iRacing.com License Once a member earns an NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series Powered by iRacing.com License, he or she
shall retain that license for the entire season so long as the driver maintains a safety rating of 1.0 or
higher at that license class. If a driver falls below a 1.0 safety rating they will lose their WCS license,
however, that driver can drive at the lower class levels and may regain their Pro Series and World
Championship licenses by achieving a 4.0 or higher safety rating. A driver could also permanently or
temporarily lose their license for race incidents.
The top 20 drivers who retain their WC License in 2016 are not eligible to drive in the 2015 NiPS. All
other drivers who lost their WCS license are automatically eligible to drive in the 2015 NPS in order to
try and regain their WCS license.
General Qualifying Criteria for WCS
Drivers must have a NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series Powered by iRacing.com License in the oval
category or a 3.0 NiPS License.
The top 20 point-scoring drivers from the 2015 WCS series are retained for the 2016 season
The remaining spots for 2016 are filled by the top 20 point-scoring drivers from the 2015 Pro Series.
All but the top 20 point-scoring drivers in 2015 WCS are eliminated and must re-qualify for the 2016
season via the NPS.
NiPS 3.0 drivers may also qualify for races if openings exist on a weekly basis- see below.
P a g e | 6
(Note: WCS drivers that do not retain their WCS license may drive in the NPS in the standard iRacing
Season Four, which provides a “second chance” to qualify for the following next year’s WCS.)
The WCS schedule will be around 16-18 races typically running on alternating weeks. The NASCAR Peak
Antifreeze Series Powered by iRacing.com races for 2016 will be held every other week at 2:00 GMT
(9:00 PM Eastern Time U.S.). This race is on a Tuesday or Wednesday depending on your country. The
full schedule is posted on the iRacing.com member site.
WCS events will typically be planned for 60-90 minutes in duration but could vary depending on
cautions and racing venue. Races will typically feature 43 car fields (though again this may vary
depending on venue). Each week, the top 40 WCS drivers based on qualifying times are guaranteed a
place in the race field. All 40 WCS license holders are guaranteed a spot in the race. Three grid
positions are available for NPS license holders to qualify for in a “go or go home” scenario. Additionally
should there be less than 40 WC license holders available to race, NPS drivers may also fill those
positions based on qualifying times. Therefore NPS 3.0 drivers are also encouraged to qualify and
register to race. WCS drivers that do not post a qualifying time register to race they will be placed in
the race based on iRating. Again, if spots to race exist after all WCS license holders who registered are
admitted, remaining spots will be filled by NPS 3.0 or above drivers. The starting grid will be set by
qualifying times. Any driver who does not post a qualifying time will start from the rear of the field
based on iRating. Qualifying will be limited to a single session of two laps fifteen minutes before the
start of each race.
P a g e | 7
Points will be scored based on the NASCAR Sprint Cup points system (without averaging). The driver
finishing first will receive an additional 3 point winner’s bonus. Any driver leading a lap during the race
will be awarded 1 bonus point with the driver leading the most laps of the race receiving 1 additional
bonus point. Counting the bonuses available a race winner can earn a maximum of 48 points. (See
points table below)

There will be one “drop week” in the WCS, and reflecting the level of competition, WCS races will not
include “resets.” Points scored in WCS competition will not be included in the calculation of iRacing
club points or any other separate iRacing competition. WCS races will include “live” iRacing race
stewards/marshals during each race and drivers must abide by their instructions.
