In this kind of arrangement, the insured has a direct contractual relationship with Nationwide Agribusiness/Farmland Insurance, but no direct legal rights against the other members of the pool. The purpose of the pool is to equitably marshal the reinsurance and financial capacity of the individual Nationwide companies for the benefit of our policyholders.
