Dr Michael Eburn - Australia’s leading expert on law,
emergency services and emergency management
Dr Michael Eburn began his involvement with first aid in
1979 when he joined the St John Ambulance cadet
movement. Since that time, he has served as a
permanent and then honorary officer with NSW
Ambulance and is still a member of the NSW State
Emergency Service. Today Dr Eburn is an Associate Professor in the School of
Legal Practice within the ANU College of Law.
Dr Eburn is recognised as Australia’s leading expert on law, emergency services
and emergency management. His popular blog, Australian Emergency Law,
deals with legal issues across the emergency services including issues of first aid
and scope of first aid practice. The blog has over 4000 followers and was recently
ranked as the #3 Australian law blog.
