Research – Middle School Effectiveness 2014

• Ofsted inspection outcomes to March 2014 – with 77% of middle schools judged good or outstanding – out performing other forms of schooling.

• Intake Benchmarking – KS1 data from first schools clearly shows different profile from national average – with many more judged Level 3

• Key Stage 2 – 2013 – KS2 average for middle schools above the county average in half of three tier authorities.

• KS3 Benchmarking – improving trend in English Maths and Science over last four years.
