June 17th- 17.6 1953 demonstrations and others- from 1954 to 1990 it was a holiday in west germany- got fought down with sowjet tanks- To show the interests of the workers

9th November- Controlled breakdown of the wall- Got forced by the USA, Russia and others- Represantative are Gorbatschow, Kohl, «I`ve been looking for

freedom» by David Hasselhoff

3th of October- Official Reunification DayHappened- in 1990, 1 year after the wall fell- Was about to be moved to another date in 2004

Celebration- Celebrates the Reunition of Germany in 1990- Gets celebrated in a different city every year(in Hanover 2014)- There are speaches or concerts to celebrate- Others like pounds with a special motive- No celebration at home as far as we experienced- There are still rest bricks to remember

DDR- Left winged, socialist/communist workers state- Everyone was supposed to be even - Represantative things e.g. Trabant- Whoever tried to pass the wall got shot at(80-138 victims) or at least

got to prison -> closed border through the whole country
