Dear Vizsla Fanciers,

It’s time to plan your advertising for the 2013 National Gun Dog Championship Event Catalog. This catalog gives you an excellent opportunity to promote your Vizslas and to show off their accomplishments … in black & white OR color!

Advertising Requirements: PLEASE READ_”SUBMISSION OF AD COPY & PHOTO” Payment is required with order. Make checks payable (in US funds or their equivalent) to the VCA-NE. A $30 service charge is assessed to any payment returned by the bank. Only Stud Dog and Litter announcements MUST include OFA clearances

All information may be submitted on a CD, DVD or by email.

All files must be formatted for Windows Operating System. Set up Charges: All ads which require creation and layout will be billed a set up charge which is payable by separate check to Elizabeth Horton. If you email a picture and text you can expect to be charged a minimum of $35.00 to layout and create your ad. If you snail mail a photo and text and it requires design and setup, you can expect to be charged a minimum of $35.00 to layout and create your ad. If set up charges are anticipated to exceed $35.00 you will be contacted for authorization. Proof of ads will be sent via email for approval prior to insertion in the catalog. If you send your ad in the incorrect file format and it needs to be converted, a $10 conversion fee will be charged. If you have any questions as to what you might expect to pay for creation and layout of your ad, please feel free to contact Elizabeth Horton as listed above.

Advertising Guidelines: Listed below are a few suggestions to help you create the best possible advertisement: Follow the size specifications listed on the order form. Clearly type or print your ad copy. You may also send a layout that we will follow as closely as possible. Send an original photograph. This ensures your ad will turn out as you expect. If you want your photograph(s) returned to you, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment. Photographs taken outdoors reproduce the best. Choose a photo in which your dog is in contrast to its surroundings. A light background is best, as Vizslas do not show up well against dark backgrounds. Indicate how you want the photograph to be cropped. If you do not indicate your preference for cropping, we will use our best judgment. Consecutive Page Requests – highly recommended these ads are submitted at the same time – if not, no guarantee will be made they will be placed together. Page Reservations – will be accepted with payment ONLY!

NOTE: We reserve the right to modify ads to maintain conformity and consistency in the catalog.
