What does the day look like? Do you want to see an Australia where no kid gets left behind?

It’s time to draw a line in the sand. Time for the last ever AIME National Hoodie Day.

60 seconds of success !

■ For every negative story, we know that there are thousands of positive stories out there. For every narrative of disempowerment and despair, there are thousands of people stepping up to believe in a new era of positivity, high expectations and success.

■ This year, we open the floodgates. We will let the positive stories flow through the country, bust through the negativity of the past and shift the conversation about Indigenous Australia to one of pride and hope, permanently.

The Challenge !

■ It’s 31 August: the last day of winter and the last ever AIME National Hoodie Day! We’re putting the challenge out to teams across the nation and around the world to share their 60 seconds of success about Indigenous Australia.

■ Your mission is to bust through the negativity of the past and inspire a nation to move forward with strength, belief and unity. What are you doing to see a stronger Indigenous Australia and a stronger Australia? What is it about Indigenous Australia that excites or inspires you; that makes you laugh or see the potential for us all to learn from each other?

■ Winning entries will be spotlighted on the front page of YouTube.com for a 24-hour period on 31 August. The site receives 4 million impressions daily.* Videos may be uploaded to www.nationalhoodieday.com from 20 July 2012. If your vid scores the most views by midday 30 August, you’ll win a super cool epic prize (see below).*

■ A minimum purchase of 5 Hoodies is required for a team to enter the AIME National Hoodie Day Video Challenge. Every Hoodie sold will help AIME reach more Indigenous kids across the nation. We’ve already grown from Redfern to greater NSW then on to QLD and VIC, and this year your involvement will lead the final push across our country to kids and communities in WA, SA and the NT.

What’s up for grabs? The ten most-viewed** videos will receive (in order of views):

1st Five tickets to the AIME Leadership Camp in Sydney on 27 September. A day to get amongst it with The AIME Team and participate in professional development sessions with AIME’s Partners, such as Google, Virgin Australia and Coca Cola. Your team’s video will be spotlighted on front page of YouTube.com for a 24-hour period on 31 August (you can expect to see a few hits on your vid, with YouTube.com receiving 4 million impressions daily).
