FINE ARTS NATIONAL MUSEUM In 1905, the design of the Palace of Fine Arts was commissioned by the Chilean-French ar- chitect Émile Jéquier, who was inspired by the internal route and the facade of the Petit Pal- ais of Paris. Its neoclassical style also includes adornments of Art Nouveau at the time. On December 30, 1976, the building of the Na- tional Museum of Fine Arts was declared a Na- tional Monument.
