National Park:- it is a protected area of set aside by the Government for the protection and conservation if its outstanding scenery and wildlife in a natural state.

. 1st practical effort on 20th April 1832.

Prohibited Acts:* Firing of Guns
• Hunting, trapping, killing, capturing, shooting
• Burning, destroying and removal of plants.
•Clearing of lands for cultivation.
• Construction of roads, lines etc

* Wild Sanctuary: sanctuary is established by the modification and abolished by the same procedure.
* Games Reserve: hunting are allowed under special permit.

Species in this Park

Many species of animals can be found throughout the park.
These include several wild animals of the desert such as wildcats, rabbits, bustards, and deer. Reptiles in the park include the Monitor lizard, Russell's Viper, Indian Cobra, Saw-scaled Viper, Wolf Snake, John's Sand Boa.
More than 160 species of birds are also present, including the Houbara Bustard,Griffon Vulture, Crested Honey Buzzard, Marsh Harrier, Hen Harrier, Laggar Falcon, Peregrine Falcon, Kestrel, Eurasian Sparrowhawk, Egyptian Vulture, and Barn Owl.
Chinji National Park
It is established in 1987.It is located in Punjab.The Chinji National Park exhibits the biome of deserts and xeric shrublands and falls in the ecoregion of 'Baluchistan xeric woodlandsMaximum temperature is 27°C in June and minimum is 2.2°C in January. Frost is common in winter season. Relative humidity can reach up to 80% in monsoon.
It covers the approximate area of 6095 hectares.The area is characterized to have sub-tropical vegetation with many plant species of importanceAverage annual rainfall in the area is 537 mm, out of which 308 mm is in the monsoon season from July to September.

Deosoi National Park
Deosai means 'the land of Giants'
Also known as Central Karakorum
National Park
Established in 1993.
It covers about 3,63,600 ha.
Deosai is called Byarsa,
meaning ‘summer place’.
The Deosai National Park was established in 1993 to protect the survival of the ”Himalayan Brown Bear” and its habitat.The Deosai Plains are also home to the Himalayan Ibex, Red Fox, Golden Marmot, Gray Wolf, the Snow Leopard, and over 124 resident and migratory birds. Birds in the park include the Golden Eagle, Griffon Vulture, Laggar Falcon, Peregrine Falcon
Deosai National Park is at an average elevation of 4,114 metres (13,497 ft) above the sea level, making the Deosai Plains one of the highest plateaus in the world.
The Punjab government has plans to convert the Lal Sohanra National Park into a wildlife safari park of international standard.
Ayubia National Park
It is established in 1984.It is located in Khyber Pakhtun Khwa.It covers the area of about 3312 hectares.Ayubia National Park is a small national park in the Murree hills. The initial area of the park was 1684 ha, expanded through a northern extension in 1998 to make a total of 3312 ha.The park supports one of the best remaining examples of moist Himalayan temperate forest in Pakistan
The scenery is superb with huge pine forests covering the hills and providing shelter to the larger and smaller mammalsNo official figures are available, but local estimates suggest that there are about 100,000 visitors per year.
This park provides refuge to the elusive leopard and the black bear. Bird watching is excellent here.Mammals in the park include--Asiatic leopard , Black bear, Kashmir hill fox , Red Flying squirrel .

Broghil Valley ParkBroghil valley is one of the beautiful valleys located in Khyber Pakhton Khawa near Afghanistan border
Broghil valley enhances many lakes and mountain attraction which are unique from all over the world although it is yet not explored by the international and local tourists.
It is established on 25th August 2010
It is located in Khyber Pakhtun Khwa.
It covers the area of approximately 134744 hectares.
Baroghil Valley is homeland of ibex, wolves, snow leopards, white and brown bears, fox, rabbits, marmots and many more wild animals. The bird species are, hawks, eagles, falcons are found in the high Mountains.While pheasants, partridges, hoopoes, larks, sparrows, quails, doves, swallow starlings, nightingales, crows and vultures.
Chitral Gol National Park
It is established in 1984.It Covers the area of about 7,750 ha The park is rich in trees particularly Cedar trees.This park also serves to provide shelter to a vast diversity of animals especially Markhor, an endangered wild goat species.
Chitral National Park still holds the largest population of the Astor Markhor in the world.
Hazarganji Chiltan National Park
It is located in Baluchistan.It is established in 1980.Leopard, Chiltan Wildgoat or Markhor, Suleiman Markhor, Urial sheep (Gad), Indian wolf, Stripped hyena, Caracal, Jackal, Red fox, Porcupine Desert hare, Griffon vulture, Egyptian vulture, Honey buzzard, Laggar falcon, Peregrine falcon, Kestrel, Indian sparrow hawk, Scops owl, European bee-eater.

Khun-zerav National Park wrongly known as khunjerab is a National park in Gilgit Baltistan of Pakistan. Khun means blood and zerav is to stream in wakhi the native language It has been wrongly pronounced and written for a long time because the language was not developed at that time The Khunzerav National Park was established primarily as a means to protect the Marco Polo sheep. The park was formally established on April 29, 1979 by Prime Minister of Pakistan Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who said that "it must become a world famous park"
It covers the area of about 2,27,143 hectares. Over 2,000 Siberian ibex, widely distributed and abundant in the park The park is also famous for its Snow Leopards Birds:Golden eagle, Himalayan griffon vulture, Eurasian black vulture, Marsh harrier, Eurasian sparrow hawk etc.
Lulosar Dodipath

It is located in Khyber Pakhtun Khwa. It was established in 2003. The scenic Dudipatsar Lake and Lulusar Lake and peaks are in the park. It covers the area of about 75,058 hectares. Some of the park's fauna includes the Snow leopard, Black bear, Marmot, Weasel, Lynx, Leopard, Himalayan Snowcock, and the Snow partridge. The flora includes the trees, shrubs, perennials, and herbs of the Himalayan Western
Khirtar National Park
It is located in Sind.It was established in 1974.second largest National Park of Pakistan after Hingol National Park.The fauna comprises leopards, striped hyenas, wolves, ratels, urials, chinkara gazelles and rare Sind wild goats
It covers the area of about 3,08,733 hectares.
