1.HARITHA HARAM (11thJuly,2016)

The main motto of “HARITHA HARAM” event is to make Telangana a green state with a

forest cover of 33%. As a part of it, TEAM NSS took the initiation in VNRVJIET with the help

of GHMC. This event held on 11th July,2016. Principal Dr .C. Kiran Mai madam along with

Dr.C.D.Naidu sir, Dr.P.Pardhasaradhi sir ,Program officer Narendra Kumar sir made their

presence and planted a sapling , encouraging us to move further.

We bring around 320 different types of plants like neem ,mango,jamun etc from

GHMC.saplings were planted in different areas of college like beside sidewalk, on divider,

around ground etc.

2. Yoga Day Event (21-07-2016)

Yoga is the valuable gift from the ancient history of India. It reflects the rich culture,

tradition and discipline of our country. It helps to bring synergy between mind, body and

soul. It is being practiced since ages for good health. Now it is being practiced by all the

people throughout the world. Yoga is a way of life that provides good art of living and gifts

us benefits out of it. Realizing the importance of Yoga for students and staff the college has

been conducting yoga classes since many years. Special room is provided for yoga practice

with yoga trainer available daily. College is more keen on the well being of the staff and

students and encourages the for yoga training.Every year International Yoga day

celebrations are conducted in the premises. Students and staff are also sent to Yoga

workshops.

3. Salute parade (15-08-2015)

The Team of VNRVJIET has taken an active part in a program ”SALUTE PARADE”

conducted by college management in the institute which was held on 15th August,2012

where a common platform was created for all the clubs and student chapters to project

their part in nation’s development and to showcase the on-going issues in1 the nation

which caught their attention.

4.CHEYUTHA-1(14th September,2016)

NSS Team VNR VJIET has conducted “CHEYUTHA” in the institute with a vision to provide

practical knowledge exposure for Government school students by sharing with them the

application oriented knowledge. 65 students from Suraram Government school attended

the event which was held on 14th September 2016 at K.S Auditorium and B-Block seminar

hall.

Various projects regarding science and mathematics were displayed. There was also a

project expo at the end to clarify their doubts. Career vision books were distributed

amongst all the school students.The event was concluded with a speech from Dr.C.D.Naidu

sir who motivated the school students.

5. CHEYUTHA-2(20th October,2016)

In continuation with the 1st day of Cheyutha (14th September 2016) with a gap of 35 days,

2nd day of Cheyutha event was held on 20th October 2016 at K.S Auditorium. The day

started with a career guidance session for class IX and X students from 9:00 A.M to 10:00

A.M in ZPHS Government school. The event in the college started with project expo by the

students, which is presided over by NSS coordinators Dr. P. Padmavathi , Dr. B.Ashok and

Dr. B. Narendra Kumar along with the college principal Dr. C.D.Naidu.

The projects done by the students are very impressive in which few of them are

recycling papers, Microphone, Electric boat, Vacuum cleaner, Rocket balloon etc. Over all

the day was productive and helpful for the school children in learning the practical

knowledge importance and hence the event was successful in reaching its motto.

6. REGULAR CAMP(16th to 22nd December,2016)

The aim of the “REGULAR CAMP” is to provide service to the needy society. With

this motto, the NSS UNIT of VNRVJIET has organized a special camp in REDDIPALLI and

MANTHUR village near Narsapur of Medak disrict. The camp has been conducted under

the supervision of NSS programme officers Dr.P.Padmavathi and Dr. B. Ashok.

DAY-1: survey in Reddipalli and Manthur . DAY-2:Awareness on

Digitalization techniques were given to villagers. DAY-3: REDDIPALLI and

MANTHUR school visit to motivate school students DAY-4: career guidance

programme in REDDIPALLI AND MANTHUR SCHOOL.

DAY-5: MEDICAL CAMP in both villages in collaboration with lions club of Jublli hills

and Prasad’s Hospitals.

DAY-6: SWACH bharat campaign.

DAY-7: committee formation: committees like AAROGYA sangam, VIDHYA sangam

were formed with a group of 5 each in REDDIPALLI. Villagers happily volunteered to take

up the responsibilities assigned to them .

7.DIGI-DHAN PARIGYAN(10th and 11th January,2016)

With the objective of bringing awareness among students and faculties about cashless

transaction and digitalization , the NSS unit of VNRJIET with the help of VNR SF(student

force)organized program called “DIGI-DHAN PARIGYAN” on 10th and 11th January, 2016

with the support of Principal Dr.C.D.Naidu and NSS coordinators DR.P.Padmavathi and

DR.Ashok.

During the programme, a complete information regarding BHIM APP i.e. what are the

benefits of using the app, how to use the app was taught to students. Along with the

digitalization program, an awareness stall was put near K.S.Auditorium to clarify the

doubts among the students and faculties.

8. ROAD SAFETY PROGRAMME(22nd JANUARY,2017)

To give an awareness regarding Road safety ,an awareness drive on Road safety is

conducted on 22nd January in APJ ABDUL KALAM AUDITORIUM.Sub inspector addressed

the students and motivated them to follow safety rules.

9. APPRECIATION DRIVE(26th January,2017)

The NSS unit of VNRVJIET has organized an “APPRECIATION DRIVE” to show gratitude for the selfless service done by people who go unrecognized. We told them how important they are for the society and that they make it a better place to live. This time we selected GHMC and Railway station workers, Sivananda rehabilition centre ,an orphanage where a lady teaches orphan students without expecting anything in return, and shopkeepers who use digital payments.The event was organized on 26th January 2017 near Khairthabad , Nampally railway station ,JNTU and Madhapur.

10.SALUTE PARADE(26th January,2017)

TheTeam of VNRVJIET has taken an active part in a program ”SALUTE PARADE” conducted

by college management in the institute which was held on 26th January,2017 where a

common platform was created for all the clubs and student chapters to project their part in

nation’s development and to showcase the on-going issues in the nation which caught their

attention.

11.SAARADHI (28th Feb – 2nd March ,2017)

SAARADHI – engineers leading the society is a theme under the institute’s technical

symposium Convergence. It is organized by the social clubs of the college. This platform

was laid on the belief that technology is the panacea for social evils and engineers are the

best architects of tomorrow. The Team NSS has organized the following events under

Saaradhi

SOCH – Innovative ideas that would instill change in the current society were presented

by the students of various engineering colleges.

WILL YOU BE MY TEACHER– With an aim to inspire the young minds that are ready

to dream and set their goals , this event has been conducted on 28th February to 8th

class students of Moosapet ZPHS.

I AM NOT A HERO – It is an open forum where we can interact with those unsung heroes

who have compromised on their personal fronts to serve the society. It was organized on

1st March. Social activists like Mr.Milind Chandwani (founder of the Camp dairies), Mr.Sai

Promod (Hyderabad lead for India School Leaders Organisation), Ms.Lalithha Das

(founder of Lalitham), Mr.Madhava Reddy(working towards zero budget politics).

Few stalls were set up on all the three days of Convergence Technical fest to bring

awareness on various concepts like

DO YOU KNOW – Unknown scientific facts were explained here

BUTTERFLY EFFECT – Small changes that can bring large results were shown.

AVISHKAAR – Inventions that were done to protect the environment were explained here

LETTERS OF LOVE: .The main aim of this is to bridge communication gap between the

orphanage and students. Finally the three day events was successful completed and

reached its main motto .

12. LAUNCH OF SEVAKRITHI NSS NEWS LETTER AND NSS ORIENTATION

2017(12th April,2017)

The Team NSS VNR VJIET has launched NSS News letter "SEVAKRITHI" and also organised

orientation for the B.Tech first year students on 12th April,2017 at K.S-auditorium. NSS new

letter sevakrithi contains all the events organised by the TEAM NSS.

Dr.P.Sammulal (JNTUH NSS coordinator), Dr.M.S.N Reddy (Telangana state NSS

coordinator) and Dr.Ravi teja (NSS ETI training officer) graced the occasion with their

presence, launched the News letter and gave many valuable inputs for the progress of the

students and also NSS unit and furtherly interacted with the students.

13 .EYE CHECKUP CAMP(22nd April,2017)

A free “EYE SCREENING CAMP” has been organised on April 22nd 2017 by the NSS Team

in association with Lions Club of Hyderabad . A team of doctors from Sadhuram Eye

Hospital ,Secunderabad, along with their assistants conducted the camp in the KS

Auditorium. The main motto in organizing this camp is to bring awareness about the

importance of the most precious organ eye and to provide an opportunity of free eye

testing for those people who cannot afford.

14.BUTTERMILK DISTRIBUTION EVENT DURING TS EAMCET EXAMINATION(12th

May,2017)

VNRVJIET was one of the examination centres for the Telangana State EAMCET

examination for both Engineering and Medicine which was held on 12th May, 2017. The NSS

Unit of VNR VJIET took the initiative of distributing buttermilk and drinking water to the

parents who accompanied the students, attending the examination and also to the students

15. NSS SPECIAL CAMP 2017 (29-6-2017 to 5-7-2017)

The aim of the “special camp” is to educate the people,empower them . With this motto,

the NSS UNIT of VNRVJIET has organized a special camp in AHMED NAGAR village near

Narsapur of Medak disrict. The camp has been conducted under the supervision of NSS

programme officer Dr.P.Padmavathi . The NSS team members divided among themselves in

different groups and conducted a 7 days special camp in the AHMED NAGAR village.

DAY 1- A survey regarding health problems and general things in AHMED NAGAR

villagewas done to find and understand the basic problems and needs of the villagers.

DAY 2-Awareness and career guidance to the students of Ahmed nagar.

DAY 3-Women empowerment program was conducted in Mantoor

DAY 4-Career guidance program was conducted in primary school andthe various

programs were conducted by the NSS students.

DAY 5-Visiting oldage home and interaction with the senior citizens

DAY 6-Organisation of swatch bharath campaign in ahmed nagar with the motto “ONE

STEP TOWARDS CLEANLINESS.

DAY 7-A free medical camp was conducted in association with lions club of Jublli hills .

16 . HARITHAHARAM (july 3rd , 2015)

Telangana HARITHA HARAM was started on july 3rd , 2015.Its a flagship programme of the

Telangana Government envisages to increase the present 24% tree coverin the state to

33% of the total geographical area of the state. As a part of it, TEAM NSS took the initiation

in VnrVjiet with the help of college management. This event held on 16th July 2017.

All the NSS volunteers planted the saplings in the college premises. Saplings were planted

in the ground .Around 125 saplings were planted during this event. Every thing is done by

evening also and remembering that not only planting but also taking care about them is

much more important.The volunteers also did haritha haram outside the college with the

help of Mallampet sarpanch,in the area of Mallampet.With all the support of volunteers and

management ,the event turned out to be successful.

17. BLOOD DONATION CAMP(19 AUGUST,2017)

NSS Team VNRVJIET has organized a Blood donation camp in the institute in

association with BBR blood bank and Lions Club of Hyderabad. The blood bank assisted

by the volunteers took all necessary precautions to provide complete safety to the donors.

Around 270 units were collected totally and donated to the bank. The blood was

collected with the intentions of helping the Thalassemia patients. With the cooperative

efforts of the college management, students, blood bank members and NSS volunteers, the

event turned out to be a huge success.

18. CLAY GANESH IDOL EVENT(24 AUGUST , 2017)

NSS team VNRVJIET has organized CLAY GANESH event with the motto CLAY GANESH

GREEN GANESH.The volunteers organized the awareness stall , to promote clay Ganesh and

encouraged all the people of the college to go with the clay Ganesh this year avoiding

plaster of paris.We also educated them about the effects and the harm that plaster of paris

idols creates.The NSS volunteers attracted the students by placing some questions about

Ganesh and the answers were displayed at the stall. The students wholeheartedly got

involved in making their own ganesh idols.To the maximum extent,the team could create

the awareness and encourage the people to go with clay Ganesh.

1. NSS Special Camp (5TH – 7TH JULY,2015) • Camp was conducted in Khazipetvillage,Medak district.Day 1-• RamaNaiduVignanaJyothi Agricultural Polytechnic College was visited.• Survey was conducted in the village with 300 houses.• Awareness on female and higher education was given.

• Volunteers got divided into 3 groups. First group held a forum for farmers to discuss

their problems with the help of RamaNaiduVignanaJyothi Agricultural Polytechnic

College students.• The second group gave career guidance to 9th and 10th students of Railapur Govt.

School.• The third group dug a rain water harvesting pit and explained it to the farmers

there.

• Medical camp was held in association with Prasad Hospitals.• 2 Orthopedic and 1 general physician examined 200 people.• Prescribed medicines for 1 week were provided for free and tests were

recommended.

4. SALAM INDIA (15th August 2015) • conducted this event in the slums of Miyapur.• booklets were distributed which have information about national flag, freedom

struggle.• children were explained about India’s freedom struggle from 1857.

5. CLAY GANESHA IDOL DISTRIBUTION (28th August 2015) • clayganesh idols were distributed at Rs.15 idol each.• Awareness stalls were set up.• A signature drive was conducted to promote “Go Green,Save Blue”.• ‘Make your own clay ganesha’ competition was held for students.

6. MY VOICE - MY CHOICE (24th September 2015)

• It is an open forum.• It’s objective was to discuss reasons for increasing farmer suicides and draw

conclusions.• Students shared their knowledge in their respective fields.• Solutions were drafred for further references.

7. CHENNAI FLOOD RELIEF (18th December2015)

• Items like blankets,pulses,soaps,medicineswere collected.• Medicines were forwarded to ‘Isha Foundation’ who were conducting medical

camps in affected areas.• Collected items were packed and sent to “GOONJ” an NGO in Gachibowli.

9. SALUTE PARADE (26th Jan 2016) • Inspired by the parade that takes place at Rajpath, New Delhi for every

Republic Day,aparade was organised in the college where all the 27 cultural,

social clubs along with the student chapters participated.• Each club represented a social problem and it’s solutions.• The program started at 9:00 A.M• In the traditional manner followed by the institute every year, the flag was hoisted

by the topper from girls – Miss.Sindhuja (ECE Dept.) at 9:15AM• By 9:30AM,theparade started.• First walked – The BharathaMatha followed by the National Leaders (APJ Abdul

Kalam, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar, Swami Vivekananda) and then the NCC cadets followed by

the club members march past.

10. APPRECIATION DRIVE (26th January2016)

• Conducted with a motto to express gratitude for selfless service of workmen in our

society.• Team NSS moved together to appreciate such people who are not much recognized.• Team NSS formed into two groups. Where in, one group of people went to JNTU

and nearby areas by 05:30AM to meet the GHMC workers and appreciate them.• The other group went to Khairtabad and Nampallywhere the GHMC

workers, Railway staff and Linemen were appreciated.• Badges,gloves and facemasks were distributed.

11. OPEN DAY (15th February 2016)

• Awareness about the various diverging streams after schooling isgivin to 9th

and 10th class students.• all the tenth students of Z.P.H.S Bachupally and Pragathi Nagar visited the college.• They were shown the labs of all the departments.• career guidance session was held.• The students were motivated with an inspirational speech by DrC.Kiranmayee , the

then Principal of VNR VJIET.• Also the students were engaged in various games and quizzes.• booklets containing all the information regarding the scholarships were distributed..

12. SAARADHI(29th Feb 2016 - 2nd March2016)

• It is a theme in CONVERGENCE• Various programs conducted were• 1)SOCH: At "SOCH" valuable ideas in the form of presentations/projects that

relates the social cause/issues are presented.

• 2) WILL YOU BE MY TEACHER: Students from each club in the college and faculty

taught the school children.• 3)I AM NOT A HERO: It is a forum with inspiring individuals who took up rugged

path to make this society a better place to live in. It is a one day event which was

organized on 2nd March.• 4) PARISHEELAN: to put in front few case studies about un-cared issue, portraying

how important a role of engineer is in solving those problems.• 5) INSIGHTS:It is an event on situation-reaction.• 6) WHY NOT A FAR'ME'R?? : This is a platform to discuss the burning problems and

find solutions.• 7) CHAITANYA DEEPTHI: It is an awareness stall to explain scientific reasons

behind the traditions we follow.

13. VOLUTEERS AS SCRIBES(1st – 2ndMarch 2016)

• All the volunteers helped visually challenged students of ChinnajiyarSwamy’s NetraVidylaya Junior College, Shamshabad by writing their Sanskrit examination

1. CHEYUTHA (23rdAugust and 20th September, 2014)

• Main objective is to bring awareness among Government school students of Mallampet and Bachupally about the importance of practical education.

• The motto of the eventwasmotto "spardhayävardhatévidyä", which means thatknowledge can be enhanced through competition.

• Working models of various science concepts, which have been prepared by the volunteers of NSS Unit VNRVJIET, were elucidated with the help of PowerPoint presentations and interactive videos.

• In order to provide a platform for the students to showcase their projects and other talents, the team of NSS volunteers conducted the second day of Cheyutha onSeptember 20, 2014, thereby giving them nearly a month’s time for the preparation.

• Models prepared by the students of both Mallampet and Bachupally school were showcased and prizes were distributed for best projects.

3. DISTRIBUTION OF CLAY GANESH IDOLS (28th August, 2014)

• The main objective is to create awareness among the students of the ill effects of water pollution caused by plaster of paris Ganesh idols.

• NSS unit VNR VJIET have distributed around 200 clay Ganesh idols to the students at a nominal cost of Rs.20/- in collaboration with HMDA.

4. BLOOD DONATION CAMP (22nd October, 2014)

• It was organized in association with NTR Trust to help the thalassemia and sickle cell patients.

• Around 248 blood sample units were collected and appreciation certificates were given to the donors along with their donor cards.

• The database of all the donors was also preserved for any further use in emergency situations to contact them.

• The event was inaugurated by Dr.C.D.Naidu and saw a huge participation not only from the students but also from the faculty.

5. Salute (January 25th, 2015)

• NSS has taken an initiative in the college where a common platform was created

for all the clubs and student chapters to project their part in nation’s development

and to showcase the on-going issues in the nation which caught their attention.

6. Appreciation drive(January26th, 2015)

• Objective is to appreciate citizens for being responsible & peoplerendering selfless service.

• NSS unit divided into 2 groups, each group setting out to appreciate people following traffic rules.

• The other appreciating all the MCH workers and the other group appreciating sanitary workers in Nampally railway station.

7. Saaradhi –Engineers Leading the Society (2nd-4th march, 2015)

• The event was organized by NSS unit VNR VJIET in collaboration with VNRSF and Motivational club of our collage in order to provide engineering solutions to the most common problems in our society using our engineering knowledge.

• It was organized as apart our annual technical symposium “Convergence 2k15” under two different themes like Soch and Panacea.

• An open discussion forum under the name “I am Not a Hero” to discuss about socioeconomic problemsin our society and their solutions was also conducted as a part of the event Saaradhi.It was chaired by eminent personalities like Mr.RakeshDubbudu, an RTI activist, Mrs.Manjulatha Kalanidhi, the person behind the “Rice Bucket Challenge”and Ms.Pratima Nalabolu, a fellow of Prime Minister RuralDevelopment Scheme and alumnus of our collage.

• In addition to this an event called “Will You Be My Teacher” was also conducted to give an opportunity to make students realize that sharing knowledge is the best ever service they could do. The event got a huge response wherein students taught various topics from Vedic mathematics to paper arts, guitar training, dancing etc. Everyone who came forward to teach were appreciated with badges for bringing smiles on the little faces.

• The subjects were I year and II year Intermediate, Sanskrit at Vikas Junior College, Shamshabad.

9. Swatch Bharath abhiyan (April, 2015)

• Inspired by our Prime Minister Shri.NarendraModiji’s Swatch Bharath campaignNSS unit VNR VJIET has also organized various events in keep our surroundings clean in the month of April, 2015.

1. NSS SPECIAL CAMP (03-07-2013 TO 05-07-2013)

• Camp held at RajpetVillage,kowdipally (Mdl), Medak Dist.• Conducted health survey for nearly 400 houses.• Conducted Mega Health Camp in accordance to survey and distributed

free medicines.• Spent a whole day by sharing their experiences in old age home• Career guidance program to secondary local Govt High School student• Visited a Blind school (Sai baba AndhulaPatashala) in Narsapur.







3. BLOOD DONATION CAMP (30 Aug, 2013) • In association with Janani blood bank.• A total of 242 units were collected and given to them for its usefor thalassemia and

sickle cell patients.

4. DISTRIBUTION OF CLAY GANESH IDOLS (8thSept, 2013) • NSS unit distributed about 200 clay Ganesh idols on 08/09/2011 for a nominal fare

of Rs 12 for spreading a positive message of reducing waterpollution.

5. Stall at Convergence (03-10-2013 to 05-10-2013) • The stall was mainly aimed in bringing awareness about our role in rise in rupee

value.• We also collected the pulse of the public in the aspects future of India.• We also gave some thought provoking challenges like picturing social events

6. Salute – Parade event (25th Jan-2014)

• NSS has taken an initiative for the first time in the college where a common platform

was created for all the clubs and student chapters to project their part in nation’s

development and to showcase the on-going issues in the nation which caught their

attention.

7. APPRECIATION DRIVE (26 Jan,2014)

• Objective is to appreciate citizens for being responsible & peoplerendering selfless service.

• NSS unit divided into 2 groups, each group setting out to appreciate people following traffic rules.

• The other appreciating all the MCH workers and the other groupappreciating nurses and lady conductors in APS RTC.

8. Sinti spring at Sintillashunz (06-03-2014 to 08-03-2014)

• The stall was aimed in bringing awareness about the importance of right to vote.• A demonstration of importance of rupee value by a setup of a mock shop.

9. Open day(11-03-2014) • Main Objective is to showcase Engineering Education to Govt School

Students and encourage them to build up their carrier.• 75 students from 9th standardsofZPHS School in Bachupallywere brought

to college.• Various Labs, Workshops, R & D centre were shown and explained inbrief.• Many Gaming Sessions and cultural programs were conducted andconcluded

that day with career Guidance Session.

1.NSS Special Camp (02-07-2012 to 04-07-2012)

i) Door to Door Health Survey :

Door to Door survey in tuniki village near Narsapur has been conducted to enquire about health, educational back ground and other social conditions of the villagers

ii). Mega Health Camp :

organize the mega medical camp in the government school. About 528 villagers turned up for the free mega health camp. Free medicines were supplied to the patients of the village which were prescribed by the Medicity hospital doctors from Hyderabad

iii) Carreer guidance

Carrier guidance in the Government School of Tuniki village nearby Thimmapur. Carrier Guidance booklets were distributed to the 10th class students. The children were very enthusiastic and curious to clear their doubts about how to study and reach their goals

3.Clay Ganesh Idol Distribution (18-09-2012)

In view of Ganesh Chathurdhi on 19.09.2012, the NSS Unit of VNR VJIET, 450 nos. of clay Ganesh idols were distributed on 18.09.2012 to the staff & students at nominal cost of Rs.10/- each.

On the eve of NSS Day 24 Sept 2012, the NSS Unit of VNR VJIET celebrated the day in

unique way by organizing white cane voice, a fund rise program to help the

GovernmentSchool for Blind, Malakpet in resourcing Baillie Printing Machine in association

with YuvaVaradhi, an NGO, and Malakpet.

Dr. Yesuratnam, NSS Coordinator, JNTUH, Principal, Vice Principal and NSS Program Officer

have attended the NSS Day Celebrations.

A total sum of Rs.10,000/- collected by selling tickets was handed over to the

GovernmentBlindSchool students by Dr. C.D.Naidu, Principal, VNRVJIET for their extra-

ordinary concert (Cultural Dance, Mimicry and six songs sung by Blind Students).

6. Blood Donation Camp (09-01-2013)

The NSS Unit of VNR VJIET has conducted blood donation camp on 09 Jan 2013 in

association with the NTR Blood Bank and Lions Club, Jubilee Hills in the Institute. The

Camp was inaugurated by the Principal and Vice Principal.

7. Visit to “Sparsh” an NGO (20-01-2013)

The NSS Volunteers have visited (20-01-2013) “SPARSA “, an NGO, at Jubilee Hills. The inmates of this organization are very old and on the verge of their last journey. The volunteers interacted with the old people and motivated them to have positive thoughts towards God.

8. Appreciation Drive(26-01-2013)

The NSS unit of VNR VJIET has conducted appreciation drive to follow traffic rules at the

following junctions in the Twin cities like S.R.Nagar Junction, Khairatabad and also the

volunteers appreciated the GHMC Sweepers for their services to the society, through

Badge.







10. Anti Drugs Drive (Febraury,2013)

An initiative NSS unit VNR VJIET to bring awarnessamong the students against the use of drugs and other harmful chemicals.An awarness wal was organised in the college depicting slogans and various ill effects of the usage of drugs.

11. GO GREEN GO RUN (17-02-2013)

M/s. Harithon, a Hyderabad based NGO organized a run in the name of “GO GREEN GO

RUN” ON 17.02.2013 at Necklace Road in Hyderabad. 29 NSS VNR VJIET volunteers, NSS

Program Officer and Physical Director participated in the run.

12. Volunteers as Scribes (06-03-2013)

NSS Unit of VNR VJIET in association with Sathkruthi NGO mobilized first year students

from the college to provide a helping hand to blind students. Visually challenged students

of ChinnajiyarSwamy’sNetraVidylaya Junior College, Shamshabad needed scribes to write

their Sanskrit examination. Sathkruthi NGO approached the NSS Unit in this regard as it

supported the same cause since the past 5 years.

The first year students were excited and had great satisfaction for helping the blind. The

blind students also expressed their gratitude.

13. NSS UNIT OF VNR VJIET – BLOOD DONATION (21-02-2013)

and donated blood for the persons

VJIET NSS Unit have gone to Osmania General Hospital

injured in bomb blasts at Dilsukhnagar on 21.02.2013.
