Ideally, the structure of effective education offered should match the structure of
environment or society into which students will ultimately go…
Motivational factors influence transfer of learning. Pugh and Bergon (2006)
1. Influence the quality of initial learning in ways that support transfer.
2. Influence the initiation of transfer attempts, particularly in situations where individuals have an opportunity to apply learning but are not required to.
3. Influence individuals’ persistence when engaged in transfer tasks.
