1. Candidates must read carefully the Instructions (including how to fill up the Application
Form online) given in the Information Bulletin available on the NTA Website. Candidates
not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
2. Candidates can apply for NSUEE 2021 through "Online" mode only. The Application
Form in any other mode will not be accepted.

3. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate from an email for one degree
programme. To apply for more than one degree programme, the Application should register
himself/herself using another email id and phone number and pay the fee again.
4. Instructions for filling Online Application Form:
Download Information Bulletin and Replica of Application Form. Read these carefully to
ensure your eligibility.
Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:
Step-1: Register for Online Registration using your own Email ID and Mobile No. and note
down the system generated Application Number.
Step-2: Complete the Online Application Form and note down the system generated
Application Number.
Step-3: Upload legible scanned images of:
i. A recent photograph (in jpg/jpeg file, size 50kb – 200kb) either in colour or
black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white
background;
ii. Candidate’s signature (file size: 10kb - 30kb);
iii. Reserved Category Certificate, if applicable (file size 50 kb-300 kb).
iv. Sports Participation Certificate (Highest level), if applicable (file size 50 kb-
300 kb).
Step-4: Pay the fee using the Payment Gateway(s) integrated to the Online Application
through Net Banking / Debit / Credit Card / UPI / Wallet/ Paytm and keep proof of fee
paid.
All 4 Steps can be done together or at separate timings.
5. After (successful completion of Step-4, the Confirmation Page of the Application Form,
should be downloaded, and a printout of the same may be retained for future reference.
The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form could be generated only after
successful payment by the Candidate.
i. If the Confirmation Page is not generated after paying the prescribed fee, the Candidate
should approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway integrator to ensure the
successful payment.
ii. In spite of the above, if a successful transaction is not reflected on the Portal, the
Candidate may contact NTA Helpline numbers 011-40759000.
iii. Furthermore, if the payment issue is still not resolved, the Candidate may pay a second
time.
iv. However, any duplicate payment received from the Candidate by NTA in the degree
programme of said transactions will be refunded through the same payment mode
through which the duplicate payment is received, after fee reconciliation by NTA.

6. Information such as his/her name, contact details/address, category, educational
qualification details, date of birth, etc., provided by the Candidate in the online
Application Form will be treated as final. Any request for change in such particulars after
the closure of the correction period will not be considered by NTA.
7. NTA does not edit/modify/alter any information entered by the Candidate under any
circumstances. Any request for change in information will not be entertained. Therefore,
candidates are advised to exercise utmost caution while filling up correct details in
the Application Form. Corrections sent by the Candidate through
Post/Fax/WhatsApp/E-mail/by Hand will not be entertained by the NTA.
8. NSU and NTA disclaim any liability that may cause due to incorrect information
provided by the Candidate in his/her online Application Form.
9. Candidates must ensure that their email address and mobile number to be registered
in their online Application Form are their own, as relevant/important information/
communication will be sent by NTA through email on the registered email address and/or
through SMS on the registered mobile number only. NTA shall not be responsible for any
non-communication/miscommunication with a candidate in the email address or mobile
number given by him/her other than his/her own.
10. Candidates are advised to visit the https://nsu.nta.ac.in/ and check their emails regularly
for the latest updates on the entrance examination and NSU Website for any other updates.
11. Candidates shall appear in the exam at their own cost on the Date/Shift and time
indicated on their respective Admit Cards, which the NTA would issue in due course
through its website.
12. The candidates invited for Physical Fitness and Game Proficiency test*/Viva-Voce/those
finally selected for admission will be intimated on their email id. Alternatively, candidates
can access the intimation on the NSU website www.nsu.ac.in. They are advised to make
timely arrangements to appear for the Physical Fitness and Game Proficiency test/Viva-
Voce, Medical Fitness Test, Document Verification, and joining the Programme, as the
case may be. The University/NTA will not issue any paper intimation to the candidates.

Note:
* Physical Fitness and Game Proficiency will be tested at selected centres in different
regions of the country, and the schedule and venue for the same will be announced
separately on NSU Website www.nsu.ac.in, subject to the pandemic situation.
13. Candidates are advised to check NSU admission link https://www.nsu.ac.in/admission,
regularly.
Note:
i. The final submission of Online Application Form will remain incomplete if Step-3 and
step-4 are not complete. Such forms will stand rejected and no correspondence on this
account will be entertained.
ii. No request for refund of fee once remitted by the candidate will be entertained by NTA
under any circumstances.
iii. The entire application process for NSUEE 2021 is online, including uploading of scanned
images, payment of fees, and printing of confirmation page, admit card, etc. Therefore,
candidates are not required to send/submit any document(s) including confirmation page
to NTA through Post/Fax/WhatsApp/Email/by Hand.
iv. In case it is found at any time in future that the Candidate has used/uploaded the
photograph and signature of someone else in his/ her Application Form/Admit Card or
he/she has tampered his/her Admit Card/result, these acts of the candidate shall be treated
as Unfair Means (UFM) Practices on his/her part and he/she shall be proceeded with
the actions as contemplated under the provisions of the Information Bulletin relating to
Unfair Means Practices.
v. Usage of Data and Information: NTA/Government of India can use the data provided
by the End Users (test taker in this case) for internal purpose(s) including training,
research and development, analysis and other permissible purpose(s). However, this
information is not for use by any third party or private agency for any other use.

National Sports University (NSU)
Academic Session 2021-2022
1. Introduction
1.1. About National Testing Agency (NTA)
The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GOI) has established the National
Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent autonomous and self-sustained premier testing
organization under the Society Registration Act, 1860 for conducting efficient, transparent, and
international standards tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admissions to
premier higher education institutions.
The objectives of NTA, inter-alia, include:
i. To conduct efficient, transparent, and international standard tests in order to assess
the competency of candidates for admission.
ii. To undertake research on educational, professional, and testing system to identify gaps in
the knowledge systems and take steps for bridging them.
iii. To produce and disseminate information and research on education and professional
development standards.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted to conduct the National Sports University
Entrance Examination (NSUEE) from 2020 onwards.
1.2. About National Sports University (NSU)
The National Sports University (NSU) was constituted under the National Sports University Act,
2018 (No. 25 of 2018) in Manipur. The University is presently functional from its temporary
campus at the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid
the foundation stone for the University's proposed 325-acre campus at Imphal West on 16th March
2018. The construction work is underway at the proposed site.
NSU is the first Central University to be set up in India to focus on sports education and produce
top athletes, sports scientists, and physical educationists.
The University would be organized under four schools:
i. School of Sports Science and Sports Medicine: Departments of Sports Physiology and
Nutrition, Sports Biomechanical Science, Sports Psychology, Sports Biomechanics and
Movement Sciences, Preventive and Rehabilitative Sciences, Sports Medicine, Disability
Sports and Adventure Sports.

ii. School of Sports Management and Technology: Departments of Sports Management and
Digital Media, Sports Technology and Architecture.
iii. School of Sports Education and Coaching: Departments of Physical Education, Sports
Coaching.
iv. School of Interdisciplinary Studies: Departments of Languages, Sports Sociology, Peace
and Development.
NSU will also function as the national training centre for selected sports disciplines by adopting the
best international practices by signing the Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with international
universities.
1.3. About National Sports University Entrance Examination (NSUEE) 2021
i. NTA will conduct NSUEE 2021 for admission in M.Sc. Sports Coaching, M.A. Sports
Psychology, MPES, B.Sc. Sports Psychology and BPES.
ii. The NSUEE 2021 is Online Based Test using Remote Proctors. NTA will share the date and
time for NSUEE 2021 website https://nsu.nta.ac.in/
iii. The Online Based Test shall consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) (four choices
each).
iv. Admission to NSU is based on the performance of candidates in the NSUEE 2021, Physical
Fitness and Game Proficiency test/Viva-Voce and level of Sports Participation. For details,
kindly refer to 7.1. Merit list of Information Bulletin and/or NSU prospectus 2021-22
available at https://nsu.ac.in/admission

2. General Information
2.1. Postgraduate and Undergraduate Degree Programmes offered

2.2. Eligibility Criteria
a) Postgraduate Programmes
i. M.Sc. (Sports Coaching)
a) Essential: Any individual who possesses a Graduate degree with Diploma/PG Diploma
in Sports Coaching or B.P.Ed./BPES/B.Sc. Sports Coaching (Three Years) with Diploma
in Sports Coaching or B.Sc. Sports Coaching of 4 years or equivalent.
50% aggregate marks for UR, EWS, OBC categories, Kashmiri Migrants &
Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmir
valley.
45% aggregate marks for SC/ST category.
b) Desirable: Sports Participation: One Senior National/All India Inter-university
Participation.
ii. M.A. (Sports Psychology)
a) Essential: Any individual who possesses a Bachelor's Degree with B.P.Ed./B.A. (Hons.)
in Psychology/BPES/B.Sc. (Sports Coaching) or any other Bachelor's Degree with
Psychology/Sports Psychology as one of the subjects.
50% aggregate marks for UR, EWS, OBC categories, Kashmiri Migrants &
Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmir
valley.
45% aggregate marks for SC/ST category.
b) Desirable: Participation in any Sports/Games.
iii. MPES
a) Essential: The Candidate must have passed the BPES (10+2+3) scheme of examination
or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Government.
50% aggregate marks for UR, EWS, OBC categories, Kashmiri Migrants &
Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmir
valley.
45% aggregate marks for SC/ST category.
b) Desirable: Represented the Country in Olympic Games/World Championship/ World
Cup/Commonwealth Games/Asian Games/Asia Cup/Asian Championship/
Championship Trophy/SAF Games/World University Games and other championships
organized by International Federations/Associations and funded by MYAS/IOA/National
Federations/Associations recognized by the International body of the game.

iv. B.Sc. (Sports Coaching)
a) Essential: The Candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) scheme of
examination or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Government.
45% aggregate marks for UR, EWS, OBC categories, Kashmiri Migrants &
Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmir
valley.
40% aggregate marks for SC/ST category.
b) Essential: The Candidate must have represented the country in Olympic Games/ World
Championship/ World Cup/ Commonwealth Games/ Asian Games/ Asia Cup/ Asian
Championship/Championship Trophy/ SAF Games/World University Games/ Khelo
India/SGFI and other championships organized by International Federations/
Associations and funded by MYAS/ IOA/ National Federations/Associations recognized
by the International body of the game.
v. BPES
a) Essential: The Candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) scheme of
examination or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Government.
45% aggregate marks for UR, EWS, OBC categories, Kashmiri Migrants &
Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmir
valley.
40% aggregate marks for SC/ST category.
2.3. Age Limit
i. The Minimum Age limit for B.Sc. (Sports Coaching) Programme is 17 years as of 1st July
2021.
ii. The upper age limit for seeking admission to BPES is 23 years as of 1st July 2021.
iii. The relaxation in age shall be as per the rule of the Government of India.
iv. The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor may relax the minimum age criterion at his/her discretion.
v. There is no age bar for any other programme.

2.4. Reservation Policy
For admission to any programme offered by NSU, the reservation policy of the Government of
India, as given below, shall be applicable.

Women Candidates
i. 30% of Seats are reserved for Women Candidates, how so ever if the seats do not get filled,
male students would be admitted.
ii. A married girl is eligible for admission.
iii. In the event of a married student conceiving during the course, she shall discontinue her
studies for at least one academic year.
iv. She may re-join the same course afresh from the beginning of the semester she had
discontinued her studies, provided the University guidelines pertaining to the maximum
duration of the course is to adhere.
v. Under no circumstances will she be permitted to keep the infant along with her in the Hostel.
2.5. Direct Admission for International Athletes
i. International athletes are eligible for Direct Admission to all the undergraduate and
postgraduate programmes offered by NSU provided that they have participated in Olympic
Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, South Asian Games, Youth Olympics,
Commonwealth Youth Games, Asian Youth Games, World Championships, Asian
Championships, and Commonwealth Championships in the disciplines included in Olympic
Games, Asian Games, and Commonwealth Games, provided they fulfil the minimum
educational eligibility criteria. In addition, tuition fee waivers for athletes who have

participated in international competitions may be considered for admission based on their
participation/achievement in such events during the last three years.
ii. All such candidates who wish to be considered for direct admission shall mandatorily apply
on National Testing Agency (NTA) website and upload all the documents along with
the Sports Participation Certificate.
iii. It is expected from the selected Candidate to represent NSU in the game in which he/she has
represented the country.
2.6. Candidates whose Final Year/semester result is awaited
If the Candidate is appearing in a qualifying examination and the result thereof is awaited,
he/she can apply. However, Admission will be subject to meeting the eligibility criteria on the
date of admission.
Note:
i. The benefit of reservation for admission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs) shall
be given only to those classes/castes/tribes which are in the respective Central List
published by the Government of India from time to time.
ii. Other Backward Classes - Non-Creamy Layer (OBC–NCL) are as per the Central list
of Other Backward Classes available on National Commission for Backward Classes
(NCBC), Government of India website www.ncbc.nic.in Thus, the candidates falling in
this list may mention OBC in the Category Column. State list OBC Candidates who are
not in OBC-NCL (Central List) must not choose OBC-NCL.
iii. Economically Weaker Section (EWS) - This provision would be regulated as per the
OM No. 20013/01/2018-BC-II dated 17 January 2019 issued by the Ministry of Social
Justice and Empowerment and the OM No. 12-4/2019-U1 dated 17.01.2019 as well as
the Letters No 35-2/2019-T.S.I dated 21.01.2019, 01.02.2019, 04.02.2019 and
15.02.2019 of Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education regarding
implementation of reservation for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) for admission
in Central Educational Institutions (CEIs).
iv. One seat for Postgraduate Programmes (supernumerary) and two seats for
Undergraduate Programmes (supernumerary) is provided for registered Kashmiri
Migrants. Candidates registered with different State Govts. should produce proof of
registration in original at the time of Counselling to NSU.
v. If a candidate claims that he/she belongs to a reserved category in the Admission
Application Form but fails to submit documents supporting the claim to the
satisfaction of the University at the time of admission, then his/her Provisional
Selection to that category shall stand cancelled automatically.

3. General Instructions
i. Merely appearing in NSUEE 2021 does not confer any right to the Candidate for admission
to the NSU.
ii. The selection and admission to NSU are subject to fulfilling the Admission Criteria,
Eligibility, Rank in Merit List, Medical Fitness, verification of original documents, and such
other criteria as may be prescribed by the University.
iii. Applications of candidates submitting false and fabricated information will be rejected, and
such candidates will be further debarred from appearing in examinations conducted by NTA.
iv. NTA reserves the right to withdraw permission granted inadvertently (if any) to any
candidate who is not eligible to appear in the NSUEE 2021, even though the Admit Card
had been issued by the NTA.
v. In case of any ambiguity in the interpretation of any of the instructions/terms/rules/criteria
regarding the determination of eligibility/conduct of examination/registration of
candidates/information contained therein, the interpretation of the NSU/NTA (as the case
may be), shall be final and binding.
vi. All the correspondence should be addressed by email. The email query shall be addressed
only if it is not anonymous and contains the sender's name, postal address, and contact
number. An email containing vague or general queries and other queries as contained in the
Information Bulletin shall not be entertained. Furthermore, queries shall not be entertained
from a person claiming to be the Applicant's representative.
vii. The following information shall not be revealed over phone or email:
a. Internal documentation/status of NTA
b. Internal decision-making process of NSU/NTA, any claim/counterclaim thereof
c. Dates and venue of internal meetings or name of the staff/officers dealing.
d. Any information, which in the opinion of NSU/NTA, cannot be revealed.
viii. By registering for the NSUEE 2021, candidates are covered by the Non-Disclosure
Agreement (NDA). As per NDA, candidates cannot disclose any question or contents of

question paper in part or otherwise with any person or party or website or such other
media/publication. Any act in breach of the NDA shall be liable for penal action as per law.
Kindly note that this is a punishable offence and shall lead to the cancellation of candidature.
ix. The role of NTA is confined to the registration of candidates for the exam, admitting them
to the exam, conducting the exam in the prescribed mode, display of answer keys and
inviting challenges, finalizing the answer keys, processing the results of the entrance exam
and hosting the scorecard.
4. Registration and Application Process
4.1. Instructions for Filling Online Application Form
Candidates may apply for NSUEE 2021 in "Online" Mode ONLY by accessing the website

accepted, in any case.
In order to appear in NSUEE 2021, the candidates are required to apply online as per the procedure
detailed below. Before filling and submitting the online form, candidates should download the
Information Bulletin and Replica of Application Form; and read them carefully. Candidates must
follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website.
Application Forms not complying with the instructions are liable to be rejected.
Candidates must keep following information ready before filling online Application Form:

Checklist for filling the Online Application Form:
The candidates are advised to ensure the following points before filling the Online Application
Forms:
a) Whether they fulfil the eligibility conditions for the Entrance Exam as prescribed under the
heading 'Eligibility Criteria'.
b) That they have filled their gender and category viz. General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/
ST/Gen-EWS/ Male/Female, in the relevant column correctly.
c) Whether they have kept a Printout of Application Form (confirmation page) for their record.
To avoid any inconvenience or last-minute rush, or unforeseen difficulties, candidates are
advised to submit the Online Application Form without waiting for the last date. NTA will
not be responsible for network problems or any other problem of this nature in submitting
the online Application during the last day.
4.2. Steps to be followed to Apply Online:
Step-1: Register for Online Registration using your own Email Id and Mobile No. and note
down system generated Application Number.
Step-2: Complete the Online Application Form and note down the system generated
Application Number.
Step-3: Upload legible scanned images of:
i. A recent photograph (in jpg/jpeg file, size 50Kb – 200Kb) either in colour or black
& white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white
background;
ii. Candidate’s signature (file size: 10kb - 30kb);
iii. Reserved Category Certificate, if any (file size 50 kb-300 kb).
iv. Sports Participation Certificate (Highest level), if any (file size 50 kb-300 kb).
Step-4: Pay the fee using the Payment Gateway(s) integrated to the Online Application
through Net Banking / Debit / Credit Card / UPI / Wallet/ Paytm and keep proof of fee
paid.
All 4 Steps can be done together or at separate timings.
After (successful completion of Step-4, the Confirmation Page of the Application Form, should be
downloaded, and a printout of the same may be retained for future reference. The Confirmation
Page of the online Application Form could be generated only after successful payment by the
Candidate.

If the Confirmation Page is not generated after paying the prescribed fee, the Candidate should
approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway integrator to ensure the successful payment.
In spite of the above, if a successful transaction is not reflected on the Portal, the Candidate may
contact NTA Helpline on 011-40759000.
Furthermore, if the payment issue is still not resolved, the Candidate may pay a second time.
However, any duplicate payment received from the Candidate by NTA in the degree programme
of said transactions will be refunded through the same payment mode through which the duplicate
payment is received, after fee reconciliation by NTA.
4.3. Procedure for Filling Application Form
PART I: Registration Page

Provide Candidate's Name, Mother's Name, and Father's Name as given in the
Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/University Certificate in
capital letters. No prefix in the name of the Candidate is allowed.
iii. Date of Birth: dd/mm/yyyy
Provide Candidate's date of birth as recorded in Secondary School Examination
or equivalent Board/University Certificate.
iv. Mobile Number and Email Address:
Candidates must provide their own Mobile Number and email address.
Note: Only one email address and one Mobile Number are valid for one Application

Note:
i. Candidate must choose three centres of his/her preference, as per the list provided
in ANNEXURE-I, for Physical Fitness, Game Proficiency, Viva-Voce, Document
Verification and Medical Fitness Test. However, NSU reserves the right to
allocate any centre to the candidates.
ii. Other Backward Classes (OBC) - Non-Creamy Layer as per the Central List
of Other Backward Classes available on National Commission for Backward
Classes (NCBC), Government of India website (www.ncbc.nic.in). Thus, the
candidates falling in this list may mention OBC in the Category Column. However,
state list OBC Candidates who are not in OBC-NCL (Central List) must not
choose OBC-NCL.
iii. Economically Weaker Section (EWS) - This provision would be regulated as per
the OM No. 20013/01/2018-BC-II dated 17th January 2019 issued by the Ministry
of Social Justice and Empowerment and the OM No. 12-4/2019-U1 dated
17.01.2019 as well as the Letters No 35-2/2019-T.S.I dated 21.01.2019, 01.02.2019,
04.02.2019 and 15.02.2019 of the Ministry of Education, Department of Higher
Education regarding implementation of reservation for Economically Weaker
Section (EWS) for admission in Central Educational Institutions (CEIs).
iv. Provide complete postal address with PIN Code (Correspondence Address as well
as Permanent Address) for further correspondence. PIN code of Correspondence
Address should be given in the space provided for this purpose.
Note: The NTA shall not be responsible for the incorrect Correspondence Address
given by the Applicant in the Application Form.

PART III: Uploading of scanned images
i. Candidate's Photograph: to be uploaded
The photograph should not be with a cap or goggles. The photograph should cover
80% face (without mask) visible, including ears against a white background.
Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly.
Polaroid and Computer-generated photos are not acceptable.
Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear
photographs are liable to be rejected.
Candidates may please note that if it is found that the photograph uploaded is
fabricated, i.e. de-shaped or seems to be hand-made or computer made, the
form of the Candidate will be rejected, and the same would be considered as
using unfair means, and the Candidate would be dealt with accordingly.
Application without photograph shall be rejected. The photograph need not be
attested. Candidates are advised to take 6 to 8 passport size coloured photographs
with white background.
The Candidate should scan his/her passport-size photograph for uploading.
File size must be between 50 kb to 200 kb.
ii. Candidate's Signature: to be uploaded
The candidates are required to upload the full signature in running handwriting in the
appropriate box given in the Online Application Form. For example, writing the full
name in the Box in Capital letters would not be accepted as a signature, and the
Application Form would be rejected. Further, unsigned Online Application Forms will
also be rejected.
The Candidate should put his full signature on white paper with a Blue/Black
Ink pen and scan it for uploading.
File size must be between 10 kb to 30 kb.
iii. Reserved Category Certificate, if applicable: to be uploaded
The Candidate should colour scan the document.
File size must be between 50 kb-300 kb.
iv. Sports Participation Certificate, if applicable (file size 50 kb-300 kb).
The Candidate should colour scan the document.
File size must be between 50 kb-300 kb.
Note: The Candidate must ensure that the uploaded images are clear and proper.

Important Points to Note:
i. The Candidate must ensure that e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the
Online Application Form are their own (which cannot be changed later) as
communication may be sent by NTA through e-mail or SMS.
ii. The Candidate should not give the postal address, Mobile Number or e-mail ID of
Coaching Centre or Internet Café in the Online Application Form.
iii. Online Application Form cannot be withdrawn once it is submitted successfully.
iv. Application Form of candidates who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria shall be
rejected at any stage of admission process.
v. Candidate applying for M.Sc. Sports Coaching, and B.Sc. Sports Coaching must choose
three centres, as per the list provided in ANNEXURE-I, according to his/her
game/sport and nearest to him/her. Candidate applying for MPES, M.A. Sports Psychology
and BPES can choose any centre nearest to him/her. However, NSU reserves the right to
allocate any centre to the candidates.
vi. A candidate is allowed to submit only one Application Form for one
Programme. If a candidate wishes to apply for more than one Programme,
he/she should register again using a different e-mail id and mobile number and
repeat process again.
vii. Request for change in any particular in the Application Form shall not be
entertained under any circumstances.
viii. Selection of a candidate in the test is provisional subject to being found otherwise
eligible for admission.
ix. In case a candidate is found providing incorrect information or the identity is
proved to be false at any time in the future, the candidate shall face penal action as
per the law.
x. The Candidates are not required to send/ submit the Confirmation Page of Online
Application Form to the NTA. However, he/she is advised to retain the following
documents with them as reference for future correspondence:
Copy of the Confirmation Page of Online Application Form.
Proof of fee paid
Photographs (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) – 6 to
8 passport size photographs need to be kept aside.
xi. The name on the photo identification must match with the name as shown on the
Admit Card. If the name has been changed due to events such as marriage, candidate
must show the relevant document at the time of counselling (Marriage
Certificate/Divorce/Degree/Legal Name Change Document).
xii. Candidate must choose a centre for Physical Fitness, Game Proficiency, Viva-
Voce, Document Verification and Medical Fitness Test nearest to him/her.
However, NSU reserves the right to allocate any centre to the candidates.

4.4. Application Fee
The online application fee is ₹ 1000/- per Programme. However, If the Candidate desires to apply
for another programme (provided the required eligibility criteria is fulfilled), he/she must follow
the above steps using a different email id and phone number and pay the fee again for the new
Programme.
Note:
i. The final submission of Online Application Form will remain incomplete if Step - 2
Step–3 and Step-4 are not completed, such Application Forms will stand rejected
and no correspondence on this account will be entertained.
ii. No request for refund of fee once remitted by the candidate will be entertained.
iii. The entire application process of NSUEE 2021 is online, including uploading of
scanned images, Payment of Fees and Printing of Confirmation page. Therefore,
candidates are not required to send/submit any document(s) including Confirmation
page to NTA through Post/Fax/By Hand/E-mail.
iv. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the NTA’s website regularly for latest
updates on NSUEE 2021 and to check their e-mails.
v. The NTA can make use of the data generated for the purpose of research and
analysis.
vi. All the candidates who have submitted the online application and paid the
Examination fee till last date will be allowed to appear in NSUEE 2021 and their
admit cards will be uploaded on the website as per schedule.
vii. NTA does not verify the information filled by the candidates in the Application Form
nor verifies any certificate of category/educational qualification for deciding the
eligibility of candidates.
viii. The certificates of educational qualification and category (if applied under reserved
category) will be verified by NSU at the time of counselling. The candidates are,
therefore, advised to ensure their eligibility and the category (if applying under
reserved category) at the time of submission of application.
ix. The NTA or NSU will, in no way, be responsible for any wrong/incorrect
information furnished by the candidate(s) in his/her Online Application Form. The
letter/emails/WhatsApp Message/Public Grievance in this regard will not be
entertained by the NTA or NSU.

4.5. Method of Fee Payment
After completing Step 3 of the online Application Form, candidates may remit the examination fee
(Step 4) by choosing the following options:
i. Through Debit/Credit card – Candidates need to check the validity of the Debit/Credit Card
while logging on to the website for submitting Application Form. Then, the Candidate should
enter the information asked for and make the required payment through the Debit/Credit Card.
ii. Through Net Banking - Check the balance in the account and keep all credentials ready while
logging on to the website for submitting Application Form. Candidate should log in with his/her
credentials of net banking and make payment through Net Banking.
iii. Through UPI
Note: In case the fee payment status is not 'OK', the candidates are advised as following:
If the fee is paid through a credit/debit card and status is not OK, it means the transaction is
cancelled. Therefore, such candidates have to pay the fee once again and ensure the OK fee
status.
The amount will automatically be refunded to the concerned credit/debit card within 15 days
of the last date of submission of the Application Form for cancelled transactions.
Generation of Confirmation Page confirms the final submission of the Application Form. If
Confirmation Page has not been generated, this means that Application Form has not been
submitted successfully.
4.6. Admit Card
i. The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to their satisfying
eligibility conditions.
ii. The Candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website and appear for the
Examination on Date, timing, and discipline as indicated in their Admit Card.
iii. In case a candidate is unable to download Admit Card from the website, he/she may
approach the Helpline between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm or write to NTA at [email protected]
iv. The candidates are advised to read the instructions given in the Admit Card carefully
in advance of the exam day and follow them during the examination.

v. In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the Candidate or his/her Photograph or
signatures shown in the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the Candidate may
immediately approach the Helpline numbers 011-40759000 between 10:00 am and
5:00 pm In such cases candidates would appear in the Examination with the already
downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make
corrections in the record later.
Note:
i. Candidate may please note that Admit Cards will not be sent by post.
ii. Candidate must not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry made therein.
iii. Candidates are advised to preserve their Admit Cards in good condition for future
reference.
iv. No Admit Card shall be issued to the candidates whose Applications are found to
be incomplete for any reasons (including indistinct/ doubtful photographs/unsigned
Applications) or who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria for the examination.
v. Issue of Admit Cards, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility
which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of admission process.

6. Conduct of the Examination
6.1. Important Instructions for Candidates
NTA will provide important instructions to the candidates on their registered emails.
6.2. Prohibited Materials
A list of prohibited materials during Proctored based online Mode Test will be provided by
NTA along with 6.1.
6.3. Caution Notice & Non-Disclosure Agreement (India)
i. CAUTION NOTICE
a) Candidates are advised to refer to the NSUEE 2021 website https://nsu.nta.ac.in/ and
NSU website www.nsu.ac.in for authentic information and periodic updates about
NSUEE 2021 and other important information.
b) Candidates are advised to be careful about any wrong information/false claim of any
person or institute regarding the NSUEE 2021 Examination or securing a seat based on
its result.
c) Candidates are advised to bring any such information to the notice of NTA through email
at [email protected] and /or NSU through email.
ii. NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT (NDA)
a) NSUEE 2021 is a proprietary Examination and is conducted by NTA on behalf of NSU,
Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India. The contents of this exam are
confidential, proprietary and are owned by NTA/NSU and explicitly prohibits the
Candidate from publishing, reproducing, or transmitting any or some contents of this test,
in whole or in part, in any form or by any means, verbal or written, electronic or
mechanical or for any purpose. Hangouts, Blogs, etc., using either one's own account or
proxy account(s).
b) By registering for and/or appearing in NSUEE 2021, the Candidate explicitly agrees to
the above Non-Disclosure Agreement and general terms of use for NSUEE 2021 as
contained in this Information Bulletin & website https://nsu.nta.ac.in/
c) Violation of any act or breach of the same shall be liable for penal action and cancellation
of the candidature at the bare threshold.

6.4. Unfair Means Practices and Breach of Examination Rules
i. The Remote Proctors (RPs) are engaged by NTA to monitor each Candidate live during the
final Test. The Candidate is provided by NTA with the Instructions to be followed during the
Test and how to log in and specifications of Equipment, OS & internet to be used. The NTA
shall provide candidates Date & time for Mock Test, five (05) times to login & Logout for
about 5 Hours (date & time to be announced) by which the Candidate can practice, and if
facing any difficulty, the Technical Help Desk shall guide the Candidate on calling the Mobile
Numbers.
ii. The RPs shall communicate with each Candidate two hours before Test time till the Test is
over. In case there is some suspicion, the RP shall chat through the chat Box with the
Candidate, and the Candidate is required to follow. In case rules are flouted or unfair means
are adopted by a candidate, the RP, even after issuing a warning, can halt or suspend the Test
for such a candidate.
iii. Further, the Unfair Means Committee (UFM) of the NTA shall go through the Report
submitted by the RP to NTA, and the live video recordings, the chat records that have
transpired between the RP & the Candidate and shall unanimously take a decision and in
severe cases the Candidate shall be disqualified from NSU Test for one year, based on the
misconduct in the Test.
7. Declaration of Results for NSUEE 2021
i. The result of NSUEE 2021 will be announced through the website https://nsu.nta.ac.in/
only in due course. No grievance with regard to Answer Key(s) after the declaration of
Result of NSUEE 2021 will be entertained. The raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate
will be considered for computation of the Result of NSUEE 2021. The candidates download
their Score Cards from the website: https://nsu.nta.ac.in/ only.
ii. After the declaration of results of the entrance examination, the NSUEE 2021 Score will be
provided by NTA to NSU to conduct the Physical Fitness and Game Proficiency/Viva-Voce
and Counselling for admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes.

7.1. Merit List
All India merit lists shall be prepared on the basis of the following:
i. Undergraduate Programmes:
a) He/she should have scored at least 35% marks in the Online Based Test. Only those
who are qualified on the Online Based Test will be called for Physical Fitness and Game
Proficiency Test.
b) He/she should have scored at least 50% aggregate in both Physical Fitness and Game
Proficiency Test.
c) Merit list will be based on the score obtained in Online Based Test, physical fitness test,
game proficiency, sports achievement/participation certificates.
ii. M.Sc. Sports Coaching and MPES
a) He/she should have scored at least 45% marks in the Online Based Test. Only those
who are qualified on the Online Based Test will be called for Physical Fitness and Game
Proficiency Test.
b) He/she should have scored at least 50% aggregate in both Physical Fitness and Game
Proficiency Test.
c) Merit list will be based on the score obtained in Online Based Test, physical fitness test,
game proficiency, sports achievement/participation certificate and viva-voce.
iii. M.A. Sports Psychology:
a) He/she should have scored at least 45% marks in the Online Based Test.
b) Merit list will be based on the score obtained in the Online Based Test, sports
achievement/participation certificate and viva-voce.
Note: NSU reserves the right to change the minimum qualifying marks on the
recommendation of the Admission Committee.
iv. There is no provision for rechecking/re-evaluation/re-totalling of the result/score, and
no query in this regard will be entertained.

7.2. Validity of Result
i. The validity of the result of the exam shall be only for the current admission year, i.e.,
2021-22 academic year, and cannot be carried forward for the next session of admission.
ii. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is an Examination conducting body and will provide
NSUEE 2021 Score. However, the NTA does not collect the information regarding the
total number of seats available in the Institution and reservation criteria followed by the
NSU.
8. Procedure for Appearing in Remote Proctored Online Based Test
A detailed Candidate Information shall be displayed on the official website of the Test
https://nsu.nta.ac.in/ or sent via email ID to the candidates, which needs to be followed during
the Test.
9. Query Redressal System
i. National Testing Agency (NTA) has established a Query Redressal System (QRS), an online
web-enabled system developed by NTA. QRS is the platform based on web technology that
primarily aims to enable submission of queries/grievances by the Registered Candidate(s)
of NSUEE 2021 Examination with (24x7) facility for speedy redressal queries/grievances.
In addition, a Unique Registration Number will be generated for tracking the status of the
queries/grievances.
ii. The Registered Candidate(s) are advised to use this online facility for a speedy response and
may mail their queries to the official email id of NSUEE, i.e., [email protected], if they do not
get a response to the similar query sent earlier through QRS.
10. Correspondence with NTA
i. All the correspondence should be addressed by email to NTA on [email protected]. The email
query shall be addressed only if it is not anonymous and contains the Name,
Registration/Application No, postal address, and sender's contact number. An email
containing vague or general queries and other queries as contained in the Information
Bulletin shall not be entertained. Furthermore, queries shall not be entertained by a person
claiming to represent, associate, or officiate the Applicant.

ii. The following information shall not be revealed by phone or email:
a. Internal documentation/status.
b. Internal decision-making process of NTA. Any claim/counterclaim thereof.
c. Dates & venue of internal meetings or name of the staff/officers dealing with it.
d. Any other information which in the opinion of NTA, cannot be revealed.
11. Common Services Centres/Facilitation Centres
i. Candidates who are not well conversant to submit the online application due to various
constraints can use the services of Common Services Centre, Ministry of Electronics and
Information Technology, Government of India under the Digital India initiatives of Hon'ble
Prime Minister. The Common Services Centre (CSC) scheme is a part of the ambitious
National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) of the Government of India and is managed at each
village panchayat level by a Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE).
ii. There are more than 1.5 lakhs Common Services Centres (CSC) across the country which
will provide the desired support to candidates from urban as well as rural areas in online
submission of Application Form and payment of fee through e-wallet. The list of the
Common Services Centre is available on the website: www.csc.gov.in.
12. NTA Weeding Out Norms
The record of the National Sports University Entrance Examination (NSUEE) 2021 would be
preserved upto 90 days from the date of declaration of result.
13. Legal Jurisdiction
i. All disputes pertaining to the conduct of the NSUEE 2021 Examination, including Results,
shall fall within Delhi/New Delhi jurisdiction only. Further, any legal question arising out of
the Examination shall be entertained only when raised within 30 days from the declaration of
the result.
ii. The Director (Administration) of the NTA shall be the official by whose designation the NTA
may sue or be sued.

Procedure to raise payment-related Grievance:
i. After (successful completion of Step-4, the Confirmation Page of the Application Form,
should be downloaded, and a printout of the same may be retained for future reference. The
Confirmation
ii. Page of the online Application Form could be generated only after successful payment by
the Candidate.
iii. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of the prescribed fee, then the
Candidate should approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway integrator for ensuring
the successful payment.

iv. Inspite of the above, if a successful transaction is not reflected on the Portal, the Candidate
may contact NTA Helpline. Furthermore, if the payment issue is still not resolved, the
Candidate may pay a second time.
v. However, any duplicate payment received from the Candidate by NTA in the degree
programme, transactions will be refunded through the same payment mode through which
the duplicate payment is received, after fee reconciliation by NTA
