Earliest known culture. Invented atlatl. They were Nomadic. Weapons and most utensils were made
of stone.
Large game started dying, hunting more small game.
Moved every season. Weaponry gets smaller. They become more civilized
Rivers start receding. People start eating shellfish. Houses become more permanent .
Created the axe. Very permanent. Clay containers to store food
start to be made. Horticulture starts.
Nomadic herders made tribes. Began growing food like squash, maize,
and pumpkins. Made the bow-and-arrow. Made pottery last longer to store food
so they moved very little.
Advanced housing, agriculture, and weaponry.
Referred to as the Temple Mound Age. Very elaborate religious ceremonies. More laid back, most permanent
settlement.
