Evidence your use of specialist materials and techniques taughtto you in your workshop sessions. Master these skills ready for your interim assessmentperiod, whereyou will present to your tutor as individuals. (Unit 13, P3, M3, D3)

    4:Be able tocomm unicate design ideas using 2D visual comm unicat ion techniquesBycommunicating your design ideas using 2D visual communication techniques, as demonstrated in yourworkshop sessions. For this, you should communicate ideas through your making skills and evidence.Again, show how your research has informed your ideas and processes by recording constantly in yoursketchbooks with notes, photos, thum bnai l sketches and maquettes. Show clearly how you havereached your final design outcome. (Unit 2, P2, M2, D2)

    5: Be able to use and discuss fo rmal elements in 2D visual communicat ion and wo rking w ith VisualArt Briefs by using formal elements in your 2D Visual Art communication. Therefore you need to use thecorrect terms for materials, techniques and reference the formal elements in your work. Make notes in yoursketchbook and evaluate! Within your formal elements discuss; line, tone, colour form, shape and textureetc. within your work. This could be in form an Evaluationtowards the brief requirements. You will use avariety of materials and techniques within your workshop sessions, which you will need to attend fully,evidence, make notes and then be formally assessed against.(Unit 13, P4, M4, D4 Uni t 2 P3, M3, D3)
