DESCRIPTION
This week Glen looks at how to hear the voice of God, with some great stories from our Grace family too!TRANSCRIPT
Hi! My name is Glen.
John 10:“Very truly I tell you Pharisees,
anyone who does not enter the sheep pen
by the gate, but climbs in by some other
way, is a thief and a robber. 2 The one who
enters by the gate is the shepherd of the
sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens the gate
for him, and the sheep listen to his voice.
John 10:3b He calls his own sheep by name
and leads them out. 4 When he has
brought out all his own, he goes on ahead
of them, and his sheep follow him because
they know his voice. 5 But they will never
follow a stranger; in fact, they will run
away from him because they do not
recognize a stranger’s voice.”
#1: Who?
Acts 2:17
“ ‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
Acts 2:18
“ ‘ Even on my servants,
both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.’ ”
#2: How?
Acts 16:6 Paul and his companions
traveled throughout the region of Phrygia
and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy
Spirit from preaching the word in the
province of Asia. 7 When they came to the
border of Mysia, they tried to enter
Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not
allow them to.
Acts 16:8 So they passed by Mysia and
went down to Troas. 9 During the night
Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia
standing and begging him, “Come over to
Macedonia and help us.” 10 After Paul had
seen the vision, we got ready at once to
leave for Macedonia, concluding that God
had called us to preach the gospel to them.
