IRANIAN MUSIC HERITAGE MOVEMENT
The Iranian Music Heritage Movement is a non-profit organization promoting the study of Iranian identity
in the context of Western classical music
We aim to celebrate existing music heritage and the creation or perfor-mance of new repertoire, to preserve and restore music materials, raise
interest in the usage of traditional Persian instruments in Western music groups, as well as to encourage, record and award contemporary music
compositions.

A music journey to celebrate, encourage and stimulate audiences, early career scholars and musicians interest in engaging with
Iranian subjects within the context of Western music.
From concerts, presentations, composition workshop/competition to a duduk/santur/daf/ney seminars this two-day event aims to offer a
variety of experiences and activities.
