It has forged a training programwhich is setting tbe pattern for irnilar Reserve ptO-grams throughout the country.The Naval Air Reserve's Organized comba t airgroups and squadrons eonstitute a ready reservoir of

    striking power. In case of emergency these forcesco u ld im med ia tely be pu t in to the field . Twenty-fourair grou ps , read y to go aboard H,rJex-type carders, and'23 patrol squadrons, set to Fercet out enemy sub-marin es , a re only part o f irs strength.This is the Navy's answer to the question now beingasked by many prominent civilians as to what thea rmed fo rtes are d o ing to d ay to keep up th e i nte re stand proficiency of the millions of Reservists who didan outstanding jnb on all f ronts during the last war .
