Nazareth Area High School “BLUE EAGLE” Marching Band Ladies and gentlemen, the Nazareth Area School District is pleased to present to you the 2019 edition of the Nazareth Area Blue Eagle Marching Band. The 2019 band consists of 104 members and is the largest band in recent history. The band is led onto the field under senior drum major Catarina Rodrugues. Additional student officers include Natalie Meriwether (president), Aidan Moulton and Audrey Carson (librarians), Carson Sysko (secretary/treasurer), Emma Thomas (quartermaster), and Lizzy Burnley (colorguard captain). The band’s 2019 field show is entitled “Golden Victory” and pays tribute to Nazareth resident and racing legend Mario Andretti’s 50 th anniversary of his Indy 500 win. The band would also personally like to thank Mario Andretti for serving as the “narrator” for our show! This evening, the band will perform for you the opener to the show which is entitled “Engines” by Randall Standridge….the ballad which is “Back Home Again in Indiana” by James Hanley….and the closer which is entitled “Ride” by Samuel Hazo. Instructional staff includes: L. Rick Hilborn, Director; Frank Felix, Mike Arner, James Yerger, and Brian Selman visual techs; Sara Schnabel, Sammie Scnabel, Stephanie Sobler, and Amy Flyte, colorguard techs; Collin Beil and Andrew Brodt, music techs; Ben Kern, Nate DeRaymond, Brad Livermore, percussion techs; Libby Mormak, Joey Mika, Craig Mandelbaum Front Ensemble techs; Jake DeBalsio sound tech; and Rick Boandl, drill design.

Nazareth Area High School “BLUE EAGLE” Marching Band

Ladies and gentlemen, the Nazareth Area School District is pleased to present to you the 2019 edition of the Nazareth Area Blue Eagle Marching Band.
