The National Board examinations are criterion-referenced; candidates are not graded on a curve or comparison to others but against a
pre-determined standard.

Policy Changes and Dates of Implementation: Effective January 1, 2010,
candidates who pass any National Board examination (Part I, Part II, or Dental Hygiene) are not allowed to retest unless required by a State Board.
The implementation of a Pass/Fail scoring system for National Board examinations (Part I, Part II and Dental Hygiene) will take effect on January 1, 2012.

May 13th 2011- the date by which the Office of Academic Affairs has to obtain a copy of the report verifying that a student have received a PASS on NBDE Part I Must Pass to participate in clinic
activities.

Delivered to you by mail in 3-4 weeks If you want to report scores to additional schools
or programs or want an additional report for yourself, the fee is $25 for each additional score report. Please do not request additional score reports if you tested less than four weeks ago.
Many of our classmates were receiving their scores within 10 business days of the test.
