CURBSIDE COLLECTION SERVICES

The automated waste collection system uses one type of roll-out cart that will be serviced by auto-mated equipment.

This means that only one person will be operating the truck and no one will be riding on the back, making the process faster and safer.

The roll-out carts provided by Republic Services are stable and designed to not blow over, even in high winds. Lids are attached and snug-fitting to keep out pests and animals. The carts also have a smooth interior, making cleaning easier.

TO HELP SERVE YOU BETTER, REMEMBER TO:

Please place all carts within 4 feet of the curb with the handle and wheels facing away from the street.

Make sure the carts are at least 4 feet from trees, mailboxes, cars, other carts, yard waste, recyclables or any other obstruction.

Only items that are placed in the carts will be collected by the automated truck. Due to safety reasons, please do not leave trash or garbage outside the roll-out carts.

If you regularly generate more household garbage and recycling than your roll-out carts will hold, call customer service at (828) 256-2158 to order an additional cart. Additional carts for rural customers may be rented for $1.50 per month. Municipal cart fees vary.

To arrange for residential curbside service, please contact

Republic Services at (828) 256-2158 and start enjoying the many benefits of the program!
