Utilize Kaplan, Davis, Saunders, Mosby’s or any current NCLEX review books that have the new innovative type questions. A priority when reviewing is to include practice questions under the categories of: Prioritizing, Delegation, Safety and Infection Control. Look up content that you do not know before you answer the question. This will give you more information than the rationale for that question will provide. A great source for reviewing theory content is “Nursing Made Insanely Easy.” Just before taking the NCLEX, review seminar notes entitled “NCLEX Preparation.” These notes will review various types of NCLEX questions and the guidelines for delegation and prioritization. Expect questions that require audio assessments, picture assessments, and point and drag applications.
