Flood Relief Activities 3.
Relief Camps Established. 196x relief camps established in different parts of Sindh. a.
Currently, 23,629x persons are residing in relief camps established in Sindh.
b Rescue Activities (1) 2,333x persons evacuated in District Khushab.
(2) 8,799x persons evacuated in Karachi.
(3) 175x families (1,245 individuals) evacuated by Armed Forces and District
Administration from Yousaf Goth, Sarjani Town and adjoining Goths, District
Karachi. 299x persons evacuated using 10x boats in District Dadu by Armed Forces (4) and District Administration.
Aviation Activities. NTR. .
Relief Activities. Consolidated state of relief activities in attached as Annex A. d.
PDMA Sindh consolidated state of relief activities along with damages and losses is
attached as Appendix-l to Annex A.
Threat to Next Likely Areas, Low lying/ kacha areas in Sindh along River Indus.
River Discharges. River Indus at Guddu is in HIGH Flood level, at Sukkur in Medium Flood
Level and at Taunsa is in Low Flood Level. Al the other Major Rivers are flowing at Below Low

& Hazara Divisions. Last 24 hours significant rainfall recorded is attached as Annex C.
Weather Advisory / Press Release. NTR. 3. 9. Flood Warningl Alert. Flood Forecasting Division (FFD), PMD has informed that 9.
according to latest Hydro-Meteorological conditions and possible synchronization of Flood
Waves from Rivers Indus & Chenab, River Indus at Guddu is likely to attain HIGH FLOOD
LEVEL during 8 to 9 September 2020 and at Sukkur during 9 to 10 September 2020. Under
this scenario low lying / kacha area are likely to be inundated.

Warning Alert. Keeping in view the higher water level in Mangla Reservoir (1,242.00 fet), Tarbela Dam (1,550 feet) and expected rains over the upper catchments of all the Major Rivers

relevant district administrations to sensitize the population residing near the river banks along River
Chenab and Jhelum and to take necessary precautionary measures.
