Syllabus:

The course consists of two taught units IGC1 and GC2 and a practical unit GC3:Unit IGC1: Management of international health and safety; comprising of:Element 1 Foundations in health and safety.Element 2 Health and safety management systems - Policy.Element 3 Health and safety management systems - Organizing.Element 4 Health and safety management systems - Planning.Element 5 Health and safety management systems - Measuring, audit and review.GC2: Control of international workplace hazards; comprising of:Element 1 Workplace hazards and risk control.Element 2 Transport hazards and risk control.Element 3 Musculoskeletal hazards and risk control.Element 4 Work equipment hazards and risk control.Element 5 Electrical safety.Element 6 Fire safety.Element 7 Chemical and biological health hazards and risk control.Element 8 Physical and psychological health hazards and risk control.GC3: International health and safety practical applicationThis part of the NEBOSH course has no syllabus content associated with it. Although we provide you with a training session devoted to undertaking the NEBOSH practical assessment.The GC3 practical is completed in your own time after the course, and takes roughly 2 hours.The purpose of the NEBOSH practical assessment is to assess if you can apply the knowledge gained during the IGC1 and GC2 units of study.
