Students must note that AIIMS and JIPMER are not covered in the exam. Also noteworthy is the December 2012 update which announced negative marking in the exam. NEET 2013 Syllabus The exam will cover Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). The prerequisites have been decided after a careful review of the various educational standards in the country, namely, CBSE, NCERT, and COBSE. The classes included in setting the test paper are XI and XII, but students must note that not the entire syllabus is applicable. For instance, some of the topics from Physics and many from Chemistry have been omitted. While there is still some time for the exam, students are advised to take a fresh look at the basic concepts, carefully understand important concepts and devise shortcuts to memorize.
