NeoConnect Lite Procedure:

1. Insert CD into cd drive. 2. Connect the data cable with Huawei instrument at one end and USB end into USB drive of computer. 3. 'Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard• will appear as below. 4. Select 'Yes, this time only' and click 'Next >'.

5. Please wait while the wizard searches for new hardware. a. After 'New hardware is found', select 'Install the software automatically (Recommended)' b. Now, click 'Next>'. c. Please wait while the wizard searches

6. Hardware Installation: Select ‘Continue Anyway’

7. 'Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard'. Now select 'Finish' to close the wizard.

8. After that new hardware is found again. Now select 'Yes, this time only' Now click 'Next>' to continue This time 'New hardware Wizard’ will install TIUMP USB serial port. Select 'Install the Software Automatically (Recommended)'. Now click 'Next>'.

Installation of modem driver

Procedure:

13. Go to Start Menu- Control Panel- Phone & Modem options as below.

14. Go To ‘Modem’ tab of ‘Phone & Modem’ options as below. 15. Select 'Add'.

16. Select ‘ Don’t Detect My Modem; l Will Select It From List’, 17. Click 'Next>'.

Go To CD Drive- Driver Files- Winxp- Huaweimdm- 'Open'.

20. Now select 'OK'.

21. Select 'Huawei Wireless Modem', then ‘Next>'.

22. Select any one from the list of COM ports (EXCEPT COM1 & COM2)- In this case we have selected COM3. Click 'Next>'.

23. Select ·continue Anyway'.

24. Select ‘Finish’. 'HUAWEI WIRELESS MODEM(153-6K)' has been installed as shown below.

Dial-up Connection

Procedure: 25. Go to Control Panel. 26. Click on 'Network Connection'.

27. Select ‘Create a new connection’.

28. After that we will get ‘Welcome to the New Connection Wizard’ as below, click on 'Next>'. Select 'Connect to the Internet' and click 'Next>'.

Select 'Set up my connection manually' and click 'Next>'. Now select 'Connect using a dial-up modem' and click 'Next>'.

29. Write the ISP name as Neotel (Optional). 30. Enter Phone No. as #777.

31. Type user name as: 0110200217@neotel.co.za

Password as: 1234 (or neotel only if1234 does not work)

Confirm password as: 1234 (or neotel only if1234 does not work) then click ‘Next>’.

Now click 'Finish'.

32. Click 'Dial' and wait for a connection to the Internet.

33. Type user name as: 0110200217@neotel.co.za

Password as: 1234 (or neotel only if1234 does not work)

Confirm password as: 1234 (or neotel only if1234 does not work) then click ·Next>•.

Now click 'Finish'.
