ART DIRECTOR - BBDO Puerto Rico September 2003-2010

My main role as an Art Director was creating illustrations, print ads, logo designs and conceptualizing TV ads.

I have been creating character designs and props based on the Chronicles of Covent books for the o�cial website www.chroniclesofcovent.com.

2D CHARACTER DESIGNER - Chronicles of Covent June 2013-present

Worked as a concept artist for an indie video game studio. My main role was to illustrate characters based on the 14th century.

Traditional media experience: Strong use of pencils, watercolor pencils and acrylic paint.Great human anatomy, character design, creature design and props. Great at cartoon, comic book and anime style too.

Basic Knowledge using Maya, Zbrush and Adobe Animate.

Basic HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge.Oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.

Digital media experience: Strong digital painting skills with Adobe Photoshop. Expert in vector images and illustrations using Adobe Illustrator. Strong use of Adobe InDesign for digital design and publishing.

I’m a co-founder of Pleibot Studios, a videogame startup in Puerto Rico. My main responsibility is concept art and character design, but I also help with work on UI design, props, animation and graphic design. We created our first videogame for the iOS, Guaca-Mole-E! Guaca-Mole-E! is a mobile videogame for the iOS. We are working on other video game projects o�ering illustration, graphic design and web development services.

I’m a very proud Tiger Den Leader. Teaching kids about taking care of nature, friendship and leadership is very important to me and to our community. Scouting is one of my newest passions in the past two years.

My other commitment to the community is teaching art. I not only teach college students, but the general public and children of all ages. I have taught human anatomy, cartoons and digital graphic design. Some classes were volunteer work and free.

I was the mentor of the active students of the first Graphic Design Association at Universidad del Este (UNE). My roll was helping them to conceptualize and organize fundraising activities, workshops with top artists, designers and photographers of the graphic design industry in Puerto Rico and educational field trips.
