Contact Closure Version

The NetCom TH is an Ethernet compatible network interface device that is intended to be used as aremote monitor of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) using SNMP. Additionally NetCom TH also

supports Web based communications and it is shipped with its own monitoring / managementsoftware tool.

The NetCom TH can be attached to a number of UPS volt free contact alarms to allow a networksupervisor to monitor via SNMP protocol (Simple Network management protocol) over TCP/IPnetworks using popular network management platforms such as HP OpenView, SunNet Manager,Castle Rock SNMPc etc. An optional temperature/humidity sensor can also be connected to NetComTH for remote monitoring purposes.

This monitoring functionality is summarised below:

• Up to 7 x digital inputs

• 1 x Temp/Humidity sensor input

• Java SNMP agent viewer (like a mini NMS)

•HTML configuration support (web browser)

• Optional 48 volt power input

NOTES ON TEXTPlease note that the NetCom TH adaptor has been principally designed for use with a UPS, however it can be used with any contact closure signaling device such as an Air Conditioning unit, BMS nodeor AC generator. Therefore the text “UPS” used within this document can also be read as “AnyContact Closure Device”.
