Netval national and international objectives are:
- the protection and exploitation of research results
(education, dissemination, patenting, licensing, public-private cooperation)
- the improvement of the link between universities and companies to enhance the research based industrial competitivness
(networking, managing research and know how, contract tools, joint labs)
- the generation of new products and new companies from public research(spin-off, infrastructures, territorial projects)
Netval mission is to be the “research interface” for Ministries and local administrations, industrial associations and industries, venture capitalists and financial bodies to promote the role of research in the innovation processes.
Netval is the Italian association for the exploitation of the public research. It has been founded in 2002 and became an association in 2007.
