“Never Forget” This simple phrase is the core of what our tournament
is based around.
It started as a single game organized by U.S. Lacrosse to celebrate the opening of the 9/11 Memorial garden which honor’s those in the lacrosse community that tragically lost their lives that fateful day. It is located at their headquarters in Sparks, Maryland and to visit the memorial is truly humbling and a spiritual event. Our tournament played the weekend prior to the September 11th anniversary and it is our opportunity to come together, play the game we love, make our contribution to the cause and continue to honor the first responders, Military members and their families that will never forget that tragic day in 2001. They will never forget and NOR SHOULD WE!
We are a NOT FOR PROFIT tournament. We are all volunteers. All money raised goes directly to aiding those in need. With your help we can meet the obligation of assisting those that sacrifice for us all.
