To drift: To have no continuing focus Example: My attention drifted during the boring presentation.
Amicable: Friendly / peaceable Example: The dispute was finally finished in a very amicable way.
Grumble: To complain in a surly manner; mutter discontentedly Example: She grumbles when she doesn’t have what she wants
Bringing up: helping someone grow up to be an accepted member of the community. Example: She has the responsibility of bringing up her baby
Groaned: To make a sound expressive of stress / to grumble or complain Example: He groaned when he heard that he had failed his exam
Came to a halt: be unable to move further / To Stop Example: He came to a halt since there were many cars on the road.
Fumbled: To touch or handle nervously Example: She fumbled the glass because she was very nervous
Slammed her foot on: to be as fast as you can Example: They were late to school so they slammed thier foot on
Dazzle: to blind with intense light Example: He dazzle him with a flashlight
Slowed down: Not moving Example: He slowed down since a man was in the middle of the street
Speed up: Move faster Example: The cheetah speeded up
Snatch a look: to try to seize something Example: He tried to see his son who was in front of him.

Horn: an instrument sounding a warning or other signal Example: She pulled her car horn.
Swerved back: To turn a side Example: I swerved back because an ambulance car was behind me.
Menacingly: In a menacing manner Example: I heard her menacingly voice
Tremble: To shake involuntary Example: My teacher was giving back our exams and I started to tremble
Spotted: To detect something Example: She spotted there wasn’t milk enough

Pull over: To cause someone or a vehicle to drive over to something, such as the side of the road Example: I was driving and I pull over because the traffic light went to red
Crouched: to stoop or huddle down Example: The man was crouched on the floor
Grabbed: To hold something Example: She grabbed an apple
Chasing me for: Pursue in order to catch or catch up with Example: Tom is chasing me!! I’m Jerry
Threat: An expression of an intention to inflict pain, harm, or punishment Example: He threatened a woman
Go to almost any lengths: You would do anything for something Example: I would go to any lengths to have my phone back
Crowded: Many people in one place
Example: This room is very crowded
Thump: Hit (someone or something) heavily, especially with the fist or a blunt implement Example: She thumped the bag
Blasted: A powerful hit, blow, or shot. Example: The kid blasted the ball
Swerved back: To change the direction Example: We swerved back because we realized that we had forgotten out brother.
Aimed at: To direct (a weapon or camera) toward a point Example: He is aming at you
