Twisted Grilled Cheese Sandwiches2 slices of Italian bread (prepackaged works fine)2 slices of provolone cheese2 very thin slices of tomatoes

Layer the cheese and tomatoes inside the bread. Butter each side of the bread lightly and place in a sauté pan on low heat. Cook each side until slightly browned and the cheese is melted.

This makes for a new twist on the traditional grilled cheese sandwich.

Linemen from Mitchell EMC

recently participated with

Sylvester Elementary teacher

Shala Juster and her 4th grade

science class in an egg drop

project. The children were

tasked with building an egg

‘protection container’ out of

common materials such as

paper towels, styrofoam cups,

tape, etc. The containers, with

eggs inside, were then dropped

from various heights. The

elimination process began by

dropping from small heights in

the classroom before moving

outside to include Mitchell EMC

bucket trucks. Each elimination

round increased in height until

a winner was found by dropping

from almost 35 feet before

finally cracking the egg inside.

As you can see by the smiles in

the photo, the linemen were as

excited as the kids!s The two fourth grade winners wereZakkery Parten and Cartez Porter.
