This Week at Camp

● Senior Spotlighters had such a MEMORABLE and MARVELOUS first day of camp!! The campers were so excited to jump right into activity rotations and start their summer of learning and fun!

● The campers channeled their creativity and spunk this week as they began ceramics, art, musical theater, dance, cooking, and acting! They are learning so much already, and it is clear they will shine throughout the summer!

● This week we made waves at Rosewood Beach, splashed around at our first field trip at Barefoot Bay, had a blast at Hidden Creek, and danced our way through our first “Spotlight On” Workshop, Zumba!

● The Senior girls were very excited to meet their Junior PALS this week. It was a great opportunity to meet new people, to get to know them, and to find out what they have in common! They had a great time!

Something to Share

We kicked off camp by introducing a weekly theme in PALS, this week being friendship! The Senior Spotlighters also brought the heat to the kitchen this week in cooking, a delicious, new addition to camp! In Musical Theatre, the campers started learning “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” from The Lion King! And in dance, the campers started the choreography for “Stick to the Status Quo,” from High School Musical!
