New AVA Offices
The Association for Vascular Access (AVA) has consolidatedmany of its operations and has opened a new office in Clinton,Mississippi. A three-person staff now operates from the newoffices, includingAVA Executive Director Mary Lea Nations, andtwo new staff members, Director of Communications Jean Weissand Office AdministratorlProject Coordinator Teri Smith. The oldAVA Utah address and phone numbers are being phased out.Please contact AVA at our new offices listed below.

New AVA Offices NeedYour Decorating Help!
The AVA staff needs your help decorating its new offices. Theboxes have been emptied and the office furniture and files are setup, but the walls are completely BARE' There are over 27 blankbeige walls. We would like to feel close to our national and international members, so we are asking you to help decorate andbring a little style to our offices by sending in posters of your corner (city, region, state, or country) of the world. Any poster sizewill be welcome.
We would also enjoy having patient photos (8" x 10" minimumsize) to hang on our walls as a daily reminder to us of what AVArepresents and who is important in our mission. We hope theposters and photographs you send will be as unique as our members.

New AVA Staff
AVA has added two new members to its staff in the new C1inton, Mississippi office. Jean Weiss is the new Director of Communications. Jean is an Illinois native and graduate of theUniversity of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has extensiveexperience in association, nonprofit, and corporate conununications including membership, grant writing, public relations,fundraising, and marketing. This is a new position for AVA, andJean will be overseeing development and implementation of allAVA marketing and communications. She will be in the officedaily trom 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (CST).
Teri Smith is the new AVA Office Administrator/ Project Coordinator. She is originally trom Louisiana, but has lived in Mississippi for more than 30 years. Teri has almost 10 years ofassociation and nonprofit administration experience. She will bemanaging the AVA administrative duties, including bookkeepingand membership. Teri will also be the staff coordinator with ourcontracted meeting and conference management team. Ted '5
