Registration Fees

Prizes, refreshments, ditty bag, lunch and social ticket.

$200 per single person

$800 per foursome (this includes 18 holes of golf with a cart,

prizes, refreshments, shirt, ditty bag, lunch and social ticket

Driving Range

The driving range and practice balls will be available one hour

prior to tee time.

Mulligans Two mulligans may be purchased for $5.00 each to benefit a non

-profit children’s charity organization.

Awards

Gift certificates to the pro shop will be awarded to winning

teams. Certificates will also be awarded for longest drive and

closest to the hole.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Beverages

Beverages will be easily accessible throughout the course. Food

Courts will also be stationed on the course throughout the day

for the morning and afternoon flight.

There will be a cocktail hour and dinner reception immediately

following the afternoon round. Awards will be presented at that

time.

Dress Attire

Belle Terre Country Club requires that all players wear proper

golf attire such as soft spikes, a collared shirt, golf shorts, or

slacks. No jeans or tank tops will be allowed.

Photography Team photographs will be taken the day of the event.

Events & Activities

There will be two tee times. 7:30 am and 1:00 pm. Please

indicate your desired tee time on registration form.

Registration will begin 1 hour prior to shotgun start. Overflow

of players will play at Riverlands Country Club.

7:30 am - tee time

HISTORY AND BACKGROUND

Ed Reed, Eye of the Hurricane Foundation The proceeds from this event will be used to help fund the “Ed Reed, Eye of the Hurricane Foundation”. Mr. Reed’s foundation

is a unique charity that reaches out to many charitable

organizations and worthwhile causes in the St. Charles Parish

area. Some examples are Mr. Reed’s football camps for children

at Destrehan High School, Ed Reed River Parish Jamboree and

annual college scholarships for St. Charles Parish student-

athletes. Mr. Reed is also affiliated with the St. Rose Booster

Club and is a strong supporter of the Destrehan High School

Football Team.

Edward Earl Reed, Jr. is a professional football player who

currently plays free safety for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL.

He is considered one of the most dominant safeties in the

league and is often referred to as a 'play-maker'. Reed who

resided in St. Rose, Louisiana, attended Destrehan High School.

He was an All-State and All-Parish selection at defensive back

and kick returner and also New Orleans Times-Picayune District

Most Valuable Defensive Player as a Senior.

Ed Reed attended the University of Miami where he was a

standout defensive player. Reed was the leader of the

University of Miami team that won the 2001 National

Championship. Ed earned the league's Co-Defensive Player of

the Year award in 2001 and was named National Defensive

Player of the Year by Football News.

Reed has enjoyed a very successful professional career so far

and has become one of the Ravens' most popular player. Since

he joined the Ravens, Reed has developed a relationship with

Booker T. Washington Middle School students that includes

mentoring and academic incentives.
