The Biggest Adventure

I believe that within all of us there is an adventurer. Some of us are risk takers, some do or want to travel to all ends of the earth and others want to speak in front of thousands and most dream of exploring the unknown. However you define an adventure, there is an adventurer in all of us. Maybe that is why we all ended up in Forever together. Whatever your reason, I challenge you to reconnect with that reason, revaluate your why. We are on the precipice of yet another new year. 2015 is upon us and with it, a blank slate. This year, I challenge you to choose your own adventure!

Take some time to reflect on 2014. What were you able to accomplish last year? How? What will you achieve this year? One of the beautiful things about Forever is that you are able to create your own destiny. Your success is measured by your drive and commitment to yourself and your business. Like any kind of adventure, there are many options and important steps that you must take to achieve your goals.

Choose Your Destination: January is a time for optimism and dreaming BIG! Will you join us at our next exciting destination for Global Rally 2016? Or maybe you’d like to earn some extra cash to use towards a new car with Forever2Drive? How about participating in the next Eagle Manager’s Retreat? Of course, you can achieve ALL of the above, and there are countless other exciting opportunities – simply decide which incentives to work towards.

Plan Effectively: Now that you’ve determined your goals for the year, how will you reach them? What people will you need around you to make your journey fantastic? Build a roadmap from where you are now to your achievements in 2015 and set milestones to accomplish along the way – they will help you stay on course throughout the year.

Be Flexible: Have you ever been on a great trip and decided you needed to rearrange your route to see something you hadn’t planned for? Being adaptable to new challenges and opportunities you may not have planned for is important. Take a step back often to evaluate your progress toward your goals and make the necessary adjustments as you go.

Have Fun: Eleanor Roosevelt once said: “happiness is not a goal, it’s a product of a life well lived”. Make sure you enjoy the journey and appreciate the things happening around you. Whether good or bad, try to find a reason to be grateful every day. Gratitude leads to happiness.

I believe the greatest and most rewarding adventures are those that are shared, so don’t forget to make sponsoring new people a big part of your adventure for 2015.

I can’t wait to see all of the amazing things you will accomplish in 2015!

Happy New Year everybody; from all the team at Forever Australia Head Office. We hope you have a happy, healthy and successful 2015.

We hope that you have taken some time over the holiday break to recoup and set your goals for this year. Time goes by in the blink of an eye, and it is easy just to drift along with no real aim in life. What are you going to do different this year compared to last? It is a fact that many people go through the process of setting New Year’s resolutions, mostly to quit on them before January is through! What we really need is a more detailed plan of what we want to achieve, and by when. Decide on the amount of income that would really make a difference to your lifestyle and then tie that to a position in our marketing plan at which level you would need to be to be receiving that sort of cheque. Then start visualising how your life would be if you were already there, how would you feel, how would it impact upon your confidence, how much could you help the people around you? The stronger the picture, the stronger the desire will be, and the harder it will be to get knocked off track along the way.

We have an amazing winning formula in Forever, all you need is to get passionate about your own business and work hard. Do that and a year from now your life could be very different. Forever offers incentives like no other company does, we have featured these in this Magazine to get you fired up and ready to hit 2015 running.

This business truly has come of age, its impeccable track record, with thousands of real people making a success of it, it will attract more and more over the coming years. We truly want you to be part of that success, and we are committed as a Head Office team to help you in any way we can.

We are truly looking forward to watching Forever achieve new heights this year!

Forever ARGI+At the forefront of Forever Living’s heart-friendly products is ARGI+, an L-arginine-based product that provides powerful cardio benefits. Known as the “Miracle Molecule,” L-arginine is a vital amino acid that is converted to nitric oxide, a molecule that helps blood vessels relax. is helps maintain already-normal blood pressure levels and helps support overall cardiovascular function. It’s no wonder, then, that L-arginine has emerged as a serious source of cardiovascular support. What’s In ARGI+?Argi+ provides the impressive benefits of the following key ingredients:

is crucial amino acid is necessary for the productionof Nitric Oxide, a key messaging molecule that provides a wide array ofbenefits for the blood vessels, heart and more.

is fruit contains several ultra-powerfulantioxidant nutrients, including ellagic acid, that can neutralize freeradicals and thus aid function of the heart, blood vessels, brain andvirtually the entire body.

High in antioxidants such as anthocyaninsand polyphenols, red wine extract has powerful protective properties tosupport healthy cholesterol levels.

Like red wine extract, grapeskin contains powerful antioxidants for cardiovascular support, as well ashealthy immune function.

Q: Why is cardiovascular health such a concern in today’s society?

A: In today’s society, many of us have a compromised circulatory system. is is caused by many factors, including aging, smoking, stress, lack of exercise, processed and fast foods, not eating the right amounts of fresh fruits and vegetables, and not drinking enough clean water. In addition, factors such as being overweight can play a role in compromising our circulatory function.

Q: A lot a people are talking about L-Arginine—why is it important?

A: L-arginine is a vitally important amino acid that has many research articles published on it. e body actually produces L-arginine from certain foods. Due to the aging process, unhealthy lifestyle, diet, etc., the synthesis of L-arginine can be restricted.

L-arginine with synergistic nutrients and vitamins increases Nitric Oxide (NO) production. We know that Nitric Oxide helps keep arteries flexible, which leads to maintaining and supporting blood flow and cardiovascular health.

Q: Can you explain why the link between L-Arginine and Nitric Oxide (NO) is so important?

A: NO is a molecule that is naturally produced by the body. It is produced in the inner layer of the blood vessel or arterial wall, called the endothelium. e endothelium plays a crucial role in the maintenance of vascular tone and structure. One of the major endothelium-

derived “mediators” is Nitric Oxide (NO), which is an endogenous (produced inside the body) messenger or signaling molecule. It is formed in the healthy vascular endothelium from its precursor molecule, which is the amino acid L-Arginine.

Q: Your research on Nitric Oxide (NO) won the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine—can you tell us about that?

A: My key research demonstrated that Nitric Oxide acts as a signaling molecule in the cardiovascular system to make blood vessels dilate. us, I won the Nobel Prize on the discovery of some of the biological effects of NO and its role in cell signaling. is topic has now become one of the most rapidly growing areas in biology. In technical or biochemical terms, in many instances, NO mediates its biological effects by activating guanyl cylase and increasing cyclic GMP synthesis from GTP.

Q: Can you tell us what else the science is saying about L-Arginine, NO and increasing L-Arginine in the body?

A: When the endothelium is deprived of Nitric Oxide, restriction of blood flow may occur. When blood does not flow freely through the arteries, poor cardiovascular function may result. us, Nitric oxide is necessary to support and maintain a healthy cardio system. One way to increase NO is via exogenous oral supplementation with L-arginine, provided that the dose of L-arginine is controlled and that concomitant nutrition is provided.

Q: Why does L-arginine represent a powerful tool for cardio support?

A: Unlike some conventional approaches to cardiovascular health, L-arginine provides a safe and effective support of one’s supplementation armamentarium, without adverse effects. Millions of servings that include 5g per serving of L-arginine, together with other nutritional ingredients, have now been consumed without many of the side effects associated with other approaches. us, there is now a natural method of creating nitric oxide in the human body.

Q: What characteristics/benefits of Argi+ do you find most compelling?

A: I think the addition of certain fruit extracts is a very interesting approach—a cocktail of antioxidants and/or phytonutrients that may help trigger the pathway from L-arginine to NO production. ere are some fruit extracts that are now becoming very popular for maintaining one’s cardio health—such as pomegranate extract, grape extract, and so forth.

T he nature of the Forever business model means that anyone, regardless of their background

or financial situation, can build a business from scratch – as long as they are prepared to work hard for it. Forever is full of inspiring success stories, from people who have done just that. And there is no better example of the wealth and success that can be achieved, than Forever’s Global Leadership Team (GLT). Rolf Kipp

can other people duplicate it. We are in a

Miklos BerkicsHungary

Miklos Berkics has achieved extraordinary

success in Hungary and internationally.

Central to his business is the principle

of helping friends to achieve their true

potential and supporting them to develop

as part of his team. “In my business,

more friends means more income. I’m

always looking for opportunities to meet

a lot of new people. Sometimes I can see

that they haven’t discovered how much

power they have. Most people don’t know,

and they are surprised when a friend

helps them discover how much they can

achieve. I love being that friend.”

Jayne Leach and John CurtisUnited Kingdom

Jayne Leach and John Curtis are Forever

UK’s no.1 Distributors and have achieved

phenomenal success with the business.

But, like many people when they rst

discover Forever, it took a while for them

to be fully sold on the opportunity, as John

recalls. “When I rst looked at Forever,

I was sceptical on a number of issues.

Firstly, I didn’t know anything about these

sorts of products, and secondly, I’d never

heard of the company.” A pivotal moment

for John was when he met the Country

Manager at that time, Dusty Green,

who surprised him with his honesty and

pragmatism when talking about the

business. “I asked him the most difcult

questions that I could come up with,

and I was blown away by his directness.

If there was something that needed to

be said that couldn’t be construed as a

positive thing, he still said it. And he was

also incredibly condent. You could say

I bought him, before I bought Forever.

That’s a message that I’ve believed ever

since, that people buy people before they

buy anything else.”

Forever came along at a difcult time

in John’s life when, much like today, the

country had been through a recession

and times were hard. “I was up to my

ears with overwork and stress. In 1993,

I was the wrong age, at the wrong place

at the wrong time – I didn’t have that

many options,” he explains. “I wasn’t

looking for a quick x; I wasn’t looking

for a temporary measure to get some

money on the table. It was really with hope

and belief that this would deliver what

it promised that I got involved with the

business. What really intrigued me were

the underlying strengths of the company.

It had a good track record and real

stability – I had been with an American

organisation previously, where the people

in the top level positions seemed to

change every other month. Another thing

was the fact that the company was in total

control of its product line; I’d seen a lot of

companies fail where product supply had

let them down. Clearly, Forever knew what

they were doing.”

The challenge many Distributors face

– even John and Jayne – is convincing

people that the business can genuinely

work for them, and is not simply

something that ‘other people’ benet

from. “Most people who you talk to come

with the same or similar preconceived

notions,” explains John. “They were all

coming from the same place; they had all

heard the things about network marketing

and pyramid selling, and had all the same

reservations we had.” So, how did they

overcome this kind of attitude to achieve

the success they have today? “When

talking to prospects, we never sought

to sell them the business; we sought

to nd a match between their needs,

and what we had to offer. It was more a

question of nding out what made them

tick. Most people spend too much time

talking generally about what’s on offer

with FLP, rather than the specics that are

relevant to that person. We’ve got such a

wonderful cornucopia of incentives that

it’s very easy to slip into describing what’s

exciting. Jayne and I are unashamed travel

nuts, but if I’m talking to somebody about

that because I’m excited by it, and they

just happen to hate ying, we are never

going to nd a common ground. So, the

real skill is to learn how to comfortably ask

people questions, without appearing to

pry. That is a skill, but it’s not that difcult

– it just needs to be practiced.”

If you want to build something great, you’ve got to do it in a simple way. Rolf Kipp
