CAREER AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION PROGRESS REPORT, 2013– 14

For all items below, the term “LEA” refers to either the School District or the Multi-District Career Center required to submit the annual CATE Progress Report.

Section A. Career and Technology Education Programs, Services, and Activities

1. National/ I ndustry Certifications Obtained by CATE Completers

Complete Columns 1– 4 ONLY for “CATE completers who left secondary education during the reporting year” and who obtained national/ industry (N/ I ) certification through a CATE program offered in a secondary school in your LEA. To avoid duplicate reporting: Only Multi-District Career Centers (MDCCs) may report N/ I certification data for the

CATE programs offered at the MDCC. School Districts may only report N/ I certification data for CATE programs offered in a

high school or career center within that school district. Do not include N/ I certification data for any CATE completers returning to high school in 2014–15. Each CATE completer will only be counted in the N/ I certification data for a single progress report; however, all N/ I certifications they earned relevant to their completer program can be reported, regardless of the year in which the certification was earned in high school. Use one row for each CIP Code–Certification Code combination. I f more rows are needed, use the optional space following the columns to list additional entries. Leave I tem 1 blank if N/ A.
