■ New Environmental Goals

In 2009, the Toyo Ink Group established mid-term environ-mental objectives (2017 objectives) to be achieved by the fiscal year ended March 2017 corresponding to the long-term corporate vision “SCC 2017,” and has been working to reduce environmental impact. In fiscal 2017, based on the CSR Action Policies “Solve remaining issues from the SCC-Ⅲ,” we set �scal year objectives based on the 2017 target and carried out activities.

Currently, we are developing new environmental goals cor-

responding to the long-term corporate vision SIC 27. Think-ing about the scope of influence of the Toyo Ink Group’s business, we have set the direction of our environmental goals as the three items “Reducing the environmental impact of manufacturing,” “Providing products and services that realize a sustainable society,” and “Coexistence with nature and community.” We have set concrete objectives for each item and determine KPIs that correspond to the actions of material issues as we carry out activities.
