Cloud Portal The Primavera Cloud Portal has been redesigned, with tiles added for Primavera Cloud Applications.

Primavera Virtual Desktop

Primavera Virtual Desktop Primavera Virtual Desktop allows Cloud users to run P6 Professional using a remote connection, negating the need to install the software locally.

Since P6 Professional is running on a remote server, the file system and available printers are different than those on your local workstation. This affects printing and import/export functionality.

Printing in Primavera Virtual Desktop Your usual local and network printers aren't available when printing from within Primavera Virtual Desktop. These are the options for printing in Primavera Virtual Desktop:

Fax: Sends a fax to your default fax location. Universal PDF Printer: Prints a PDF on your default printer. Universal PDF Viewer: Creates a PDF and opens it with your local PDF viewer.

To access this feature: Click File, Print or choose to send a report to the printer.

Primavera Virtual Desktop

Importing/Exporting in Primavera Virtual Desktop Your local and network drives are accessible in the Primavera Virtual Desktop. You can also access drives and folders on the remote server where P6 Professional is running.

When importing into P6 Professional, navigate to local and network drives to locate files. Likewise, when exporting from P6 Professional, save exported files to a local or network drive.

To access this feature: Click File, Import, then click the ellipsis on the File Name window.

Manage Organizations Create and edit organizations for controlling password policies, as well as granting partner companies access to Primavera Unifier.

To access this feature: Click Actions, Manage Organizations.

Manage Password Policies Create and edit password policies assigned to organizations, in order to control the rules for user passwords. For example, set minimum password length and how frequently passwords expire.

To access this feature: Click Actions, Manage Password Policies.

Filter Enhancements The filtering functionality has been streamlined using checkboxes, and allows you to filter on multiple statuses simultaneously. The Unprovisioned filter has also been improved, and now only includes users with no provisioning, and excludes those with failed provisioning.

To access this feature: Quick Filters are available to the left of the user table.

Customize Columns Customize columns by selecting which columns will be displayed, as well as the order in which they will appear.

To access this feature: Click the Settings button at the top of the Cloud Administration Application.

Instructions for Importing Users Creating an import template now produces a zip file, with a document that has instructions on how to use the template.

To access this feature: Create an import template by clicking Actions, Download Import Template.

Columns for Application Instances and Roles Separate columns are now available for application instances and roles, making it easier to view and manage user provisioning information.

To access this feature: View the Applications Instances and Roles columns in the Cloud Administration Application.

About Window An About window is now available from the Help menu, with information on the Primavera Cloud Administration Application. This allows you to identify the version of the application without viewing the login screen.

To access this feature: Click Help, About.
