Bishop Guertin High School offers a wide variety of academic resources to aid in your success during your time studying in the USA. From cutting-edge technology to college counseling, you will have the opportunity to excel in your studies and achieve your academic goals.
Music RoomThe active music room hosts students before, during, and after school as they make and study music. In addition to a wide variety of performing ensembles, the room is also home to a number of elective classes for both the casual music consumer as well as more serious, aspiring musicians.
Library The library is open every day and provides a professional library staff, quiet study area, 13 online databases, and a variety of printed collections for students to use.
Science LabLab activities are an integral component of the science curriculum at Bishop Guertin. Lab-based courses include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Anatomy and Physiology, and Nutrition.
Bring-Your-Own-Device ClassroomsMany teachers at Bishop Guertin create lessons integrating student laptop use as an academic resource to provide a more interactive classroom experience.

Field HouseThe field house is home to the indoor track and two full-sized basketball courts. It is open to all students and used primarily for Physical Education classes, sports team practices, recreational sports, and Admissions events.
College CounselingCollege counseling is one of the foundations of Bishop Guertin academics, and counselors offer individualized college counseling based on student academics and interests. College information sessions are required throughout junior and senior year when the counselors advise on building college lists, essay writing, application writing, teacher recommendations, and the Common Application. Bishop Guertin also holds two college fairs, national testing days, AP testing, and college visitation days.
Art ProgramBishop Guertin’s Art Department is structured to prepare students from levels of new understanding to advanced studies, including portfolio preparation at the post-secondary level. Three art rooms provide an atmosphere of open-concept learning and group interaction. Students are able to work closely with their peers while still receiving individual instruction from the teacher as needs arise, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all levels.
3 Computer Labs The Computer Science Department presents a curriculum designed to prepare students for the 21st century. Bishop Guertin offers many electives in its Mac and two PC labs.

FIRST ROBOTICSBishop Guertin’s award-winning Robotics
Team gives students the opportunity to work together to design and build
a working robot in just six weeks. The Robotics Team competes in district, regional, and national competitions.

LIFE IN NEW HAMPSHIREBishop Guertin High School is nestled in the suburban town of Nashua, New Hampshire, in the heart of New England. The American Experience Program gives you the opportunity to explore life and culture in the USA through fully planned trips and excursions!
At the start of your time with UTP, you will receive either 25 or 50 points toward your American Experience program.4 These points are to be used towards activities of interest and allow you to choose from a wide variety of excursions without the worry of planning or costs.

The Language Foundation Program is designed to promote and enhance your fluency in academic English, preparing you for success both in your classes in high school and at the university level. Language Foundation classes are scheduled throughout the day
and focus on building confidence inside and outside the classroom.

You’ll enjoy the opportunity to live with an American family, allowing you to practice your English on a daily basis. UTP respects the culture of every student who joins us, and our host families do the same. UTP host families are either serviced by a school
bus or families will provide you with drop-off and pick-up transportation.

You will enjoy a variety of foods for each meal. At school, you will be able to sit with your friends and enjoy lunch during your break between classes, with meal options that change throughout the week. At home, you will join your family for meals, and any special dietary requirements will be noted.

Step 1. Gather Required Documents
• Student information (name, parents’ names, address etc.)
• Academic Transcripts from the past 3 years (originals and English translation)
• English Teacher Recommendation (1)
• Math Teacher Recommendation (1)
• English language test result (IELTS, TOEFL, or SLATE)
• Copy of Passport
• Any additional supporting documents

Step 3. Interview A Skype interview is required for ALL students in order to assess oral language ability and student character.
Step 4. Confirming Your Place
If the applicant is accepted, the $2,800 enrollment deposit, host family application, and terms and conditions must be submitted according to the deadlines provided on our website: utphighschools.com
Once the $2,800 enrollment deposit has been received, the I-20 (student visa form) is issued. The applicant will be required to submit their medical history & immunization information after successfully receiving a student visa.
ACCEPTED
If the applicant successfully passes the visa interview, flight details, and full payment will be due before the student’s arrival to the program.
DENIED
If the applicant’s visa application is denied, please return the original I-20 to UTP International Admissions with the visa denial letter by post for a refund.
Host Family details will be provided 2 weeks before student’s arrival to the program.
Please note that students are required by State law to submit a medical history BEFORE arriving to the program. Additionally, in no case can a student arrive to the program without a PPD (tuberculin test) or negative Chest X-ray.
