Preparethewallwherethesplashbackistobeinstalledtoensureitissmooth,dryandfreeofdustanddirt.Ifusingbehindagascooktop,makesureyouhaveinstalledtheKaboodleCalciumSilicateBoard

If cutting with a hole saw If cutting with a jigsaw

Ifusingaholesaw,cutwiththegoodsideup.DONOTUSEASPADEDRILLBIT.

Withthegoodsidefacingup,usea12mmdrillbitanddrillaholeineachofthecornersoftherequiredcut-out.Next,withthegoodsidefacingdown,useajigsawtocutbetweeneachoftheholes.

Thesplashbackcanbeeasilycutusingajigsaworcircularsawwithafinetoothblade.Alwaysmakesureyoucutwiththegoodsidefacingdownandapplymaskingtapetotheareatobecuttoreducethechancesofsplintering.Usefinesandpapertosmoothdownanyroughareasifnecessary.

Tip:Youmustleaveaminimum2mmexpansiongaparoundthewholesplashback.

3.

Useeitherofthefollowingmethodstocutoutforanypowerpoints.Alwaysmakesureyoumeasuretheholerequiredforthecablingaswellasthescrewsofthepowerpointbeforecutting.
