In Market
Most of the ventilators in market provide ventilation without the
requirement of electricity. But, their performance depends heavily on
the presence of wind for the creation of negative (low) pressure
which draws out hot air from the building. Moreover, some of the
ventilator relied on the wind to drive the moving part to draw out the
hot air. However, one cannot assure of natural wind all the time. It
depends largely on the location of the building and the prevailing
weather conditions. Indeed, the hot and stifling weather is often
associated with a lack of natural air movement. Accordingly, there
remains an unfulfilled need for a ventilator that requires work. Better
still if the ventilator does not need any electric power supply and have
no moving parts and can be operated with or without the presence of
wind.
The present Pio8 Ventilator aims to meet the
need.

How the Pio8 Ventilator W orks
Hot air Fresh and cool (cooled) air
Pio8 Ventilator isinstalled at the ridge of a building and works on the
several basis principles.First, Pio8 Ventilatorcreates a region of lower
temperature (cooler) and thereby lower pressure, so that hot air from within the
attic (space between roof and ceiling) is drawn up to the lower temperature
region (heat flows from hot medium to cold medium)and exhausted into
atmosphere through the Pio8 ventilator outlets. Once the hot air is drawn out
from the attic, it creates a negative pressure (vacuum)within that area. As the
result, air is drawn out from inside of the building (interior) through the ceiling
vent holes. Fresh and cool air will move in from widow and door to replace the
volume of air draw out to the attic. Indirectly, it will form a convection loop. As
long as the temperature different between inside and out side, air exchange take
place. Second, positive airflow across the ridge of the building creates a
venturi effect, or a negative pressure, which pulls hot air out of the ventilator.

air exhaustion by atmospheric wind and also out of sight from ground level.
Pio8 ventilator also come with the world first innovative designof the

provide for the reduction of rainwater splashing on the roof and within the attic
area.
