About the courseIOSH Managing Safely course is designed to provide participants with a broad overview on

health, safety & environmental topics. On completion of this course, participants will gainsufficient knowledge and skills to deal with health and safety issues.

This 4 day program is accredited by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Who should register for this course?Supervisors, managers and team leaders in any sector and any organisation who are required to

effectively and efficiently be responsible for safety management of risks and resources.

Course contentIOSH Managing Safely covers basic health and safety issues which includes a short topic tacklingenvironmental issues.

The course covers 8 modules:

Introducing Managing Safely

Assessing risks

Controlling risks

Understanding your responsibilities

Identifying hazards

Investigating accidents and incidents

Measuring performance

Protecting our environment

Course Duration and assessmentThe course duration is 4 days which includes a written multi choice examination and a project

based written assignment.

Successful candidates will be awarded an IOSH certificate in Managing Safely.

All cancellations must be in writing and cancellation fees shall apply: cancellations made 4 weeks prior to the

course start date shall be charged AED 180 as administration fee; 50% of the total fees for cancellations made 2

to 3 weeks before the start of the course; 100% of the total fees if less than 2 weeks before the course start

date. TWI reserves the right to cancel the event in case of insufficient registration or illness of lecturers. TWI will
