Creating scenarios help define functions, usage practices and design goals. (Brown, 2005)

Consider these three scenarios ,They all provide:Active vocabularyUpdated information Connections - connectivity Transition from one learning mode to another.Opportunities for pioonering and cultivating new teaching and learning practices (Brown, 2005)Community involvementBut how???

Well through the design proposals of possible indoors, outdoors, physical, virtual , or blended scenarios where learning can take place. Spaces for anyone, anywhere, spaces for 21st century learners

A view of 21st century learner s:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NzQqPH3JRw

In modern learning spaces The design and flow of content and interaction takes place for the student, who controls the access to course content and instructional choice (Reinhard, 2009 )

There is always space to think and share enhancing community and creativity. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ra5ba1dyF9s&feature=fvsrd

Learning spaces design: Conceives multipurpose spaces for integrated communication, collaboration, and computing technologies; the basis for learning spaces to morph.

Innovates the uses of space and technology enabling teaching-learning tasks, leading to more effective learning.

Focuses on how learner expectations influence the development and use of space, the principles and activities that facilitate learning, and the role of technology from the perspective of those who create learning environments. (Brown, 2005)

The design of learning spaces goes beyond the physical to include the virtual. Educators, technologists, and space planners are combining technology, pedagogy, learning science, and virtual and physical spaces. They are trying to answer questions such as: What types of activities lead to learning? (Reinhard, 2009). They use a mixed areas tool box for forming or conceiving whether a classroom, a laboratory, a library, or an informal space with a main objective: to enhance learning.

our roleTeachers are a fundamental part of the process (Reinard, 2009) of making learners and learning more successful by becoming learning spaces designers for formal and informal learning.

Learning Space Designers mission is :Making physical and virtual spaces that work out traits, principles and applications for a functional learning space such as:

Blogs(Virtual works & ideas exhibition) Campus site(Study garden)Good-tutorials( Virtual Tutorials)Facebook (Virtual Socialisation)

Bubbl.us Wikispace (Online Collaboratories)

Virtual environments can resemble or improve physical learning spaces (Saumell, 2010) and enhance communitys roles.

E-brary(Virtual library)

Student service website

WIzIQ(Virtual Teachers workstation & Board)

Web pages(virtual Instruction)

Browsers(Information search )

Etsy(Virtual labs)

Joomla!(Virtual pin board)

Forums(virtual social Presence )http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nkhkMWzc3c&feature=relatedDigital classroom design(instruction Blended learning )

Youtube(Virtual lectures )

A view of 21st century learner shttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NzQqPH3JRw

Physical Learning space- Classroom of the futurehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dNc5rft4eY&feature=related

Virtual learning space s- Virtual learning labshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSh8-mmEN9Y&feature=relatehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eM1WZyo9D2E

Classroom innovation; The Role of Teachers in the 21st Centhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ra5ba1dyF9s&feature=fvsrd

We think http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiP79vYsfbo&NR=1

Here are some related videos

ReferencesBrown, M.
