    8. MALAYSIAN DUTY STAMP (RM10.00) FOR PERSONAL BOND (Stamp can be purchased from the local Post Offices and one stamp for each applicant/dependent)

    9. PAYMENT RECEIPT 1: Visa processing fee is made payable through E-Pay (https://epay.um.edu.my/payment/pay/125).- RM50.00

    10. PAYMENT RECEIPT 2: Visa Fees (charges from EMGS/Immigration) - Payable to EMGS Escrow Account 1 (Acc. No. 514057662341, MAYBANK) (PAYMENT VIA CDM/ATM DEPOSIT IS NOT ACCEPTED- the fees for the visa as per attached)

    D. IMPORTANT REMINDER

    1. Please bring the original certificates for verification purposes when submitting the application

    2. Please do not use eVISA for your dependent when entering Malaysia, as they will not be allowed to convert the eVISA into the dependent pass.

    3. Student will be requested to pay for the Special Pass in advance if the completed documents were less than 3 months from the visa expiry date. THIS SPECIAL PASS FEES IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

    4. (Children aged of 7 – 16+ years old) confirmation letter from the school must be attached to verify their status.

    5. (Sharing Passport) A support letter must be obtained from the Embassy to explain that a separate passport cannot be issued for each dependent. (only for infant to 16 years old)

    6. All documents submitted must be for current year, with a validity of not more than 6 months.

    7. Validity of visa must be valid and should not expire outside of the country.

    8. We reserve the rights not to accept incomplete documents and any consequences are the full responsibility of the applicant/student.

    9. Student is required to submit the documents and a copy of E-Pay receipt slip to the International Student Services Unit (UPPA) counter. Kindly keep a copy of E-Pay receipt for your own reference. THIS PROCESSING FEES IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

    PASSPORT PHOTO GUIDELINES Please find below the photo guidelines for submitting a passport photo to EMGS. Kindly note that this is important since the same

    picture will be used on the Immigration System as well as printed on the iKad.

    Institution will be requested to adhere to the guidelines below to avoid any delay in processing as well as avoiding any untoward issues

    with law enforcement officials checking the iKad.

    1. In colour and identical, not black and white.

    2. Taken against a WHITE background.

    3. Your photo must be professionally printed and 45 millimetres (mm) high x 35mm wide. Please do not use photos that have been cut down from larger pictures. In the examples

    below, the one on the left shows the correct proportions. The image on the right shows incorrect proportions. 4. When scanning and uploading the passport picture in STARS please ensure that there is no

    white border surrounding the photo as this may affect the dimensions of the image.

    Therefore, please remove the white border before uploading the student’s picture. In the

    examples, the one on the left shows the correct proportions. The image on the right

    shows Incorrect proportions.

    5. Subjects should wear formal wear; collared and smart wear; NO BRIGHT COLORS ONLY DARK COLORS. This also includes for

    headscarves / hijab wearers.

    6. Free from shadows.

    7. Digital enhancements or changes are not acceptable.

    8. Taken with the eyes open and clearly visible (with NO SUNGLASSES OR

    SPECTACLES and no hair across the eyes).

    9. No objects such as dummies or toys, or other people visible.

    10. With the subject facing forward, looking straight at the camera; with a

    neutral expression with the mouth closed (no grinning, frowning or

    raised eyebrows); sharp focus and clear; free from “redeye”.

    11. Taken of the full head, without any covering exceptional to women with

    hijab / head scarf only; make sure the facial features are clearly visible from the bottom of the chin to the crown of the head.

    12. Strictly NO CAP ALLOWED.

    13. Printed professionally or taken in a

    passport photo booth. Photos printed at

    home is unlikely to be of an acceptable

    standard.

    14. Have the person’s full name on the back of each photograph (IF SUBMISSION IS MADE MANUALLY ONLY).
