how to crate page format in SmartformPosted: Mar 1, 2007 11:08 AM

Hi experts,

I am working in Smartforms..n I want to create my own page format which get displayed in the Page Format list in the Output option of 

Form Attributes...Please send me the solution asap.thanx

Hi Ujwala,

Go to SPAD transaction

Click on Full Administration button.

Click on the Device types Tabstrip.

Click on Page Formats button.

Goto Change mode.

There will be a create button on the application toolbar.

Click tthat and specify the width and heigh for your format.

Hi Ujjwala,

You need to create your own page format using transaction SPAD (choose Full administration).1. Go to 'Device Types' tab

2. Select 'Page formats' option

3. Go to change mode and click 'create' icon on the toolbar 

4. You will need to give it a name beginning with Z

5. Specify orientation and your dimensions

6. Save

7. Go to your smartform/Form atributes/Output options tab and put your new page format.

Hi Ujjwala,

Everything said, but you also need to create a Format type with the same name as your Page format (SPAD). Then check the Device

Type (e.g. SAPWIN)assigned to your Output device (e.g. LP01). Then to that device type, you need to assign the Page Format. Without

these settings, you may not get the actual printouts.
