November 2015 NMC Council decides if the revalidation model should go ahead

December 2015 Revalidation process will be launched

From April 2016 Revalidation for all nurses and midwives will commence upon renewal of their registration with the NMC

onto NMC Online to

complete form

Registered Midwives also

need to file intention to

practise notification form

Individual needs to have all supporting

documentation ready

Individual pays fee and submits
